Strong Delusion for Gospel Rejecters

Strong Delusion for Gospel Rejecters January 01, 2020[TUESDAY] Words of Life Daily Devotional Strong Delusion for Gospel Rejecters Memory Verse: - 2Th 2:10,11 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: Bible Reading: - 2Th 2:1 – 17 Message How long have you been hearing the truth from the anointed men of God without doing it? It is not good to be in such a state because it can make God to send you a strong delusion to believe a lie from the deceivers whose coming shall be with deceptive signs and wonders from Satan. You cannot be neutral, if you do not believe the truth of the gospel that saves, you will definitely believe the error from the devil that can damned your soul in hell. You are well aware of the fact that there are deceivers in the world today; the workers of iniquity who are subjects of t

Endure It

Tuesday 31 st December, 2019 The Word of Life Daily Devotional Endure It Memory verse: - Matthew 10:22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved. Bible Reading: - Matthew 10:1 – 42 Message Christ our saviour and his followers suffered cruel and sorer persecutions from Sanhedrin and gentiles for standing uncompromisingly for the truth testifying against the world that her work is evil and nothing else; and they happily endured it, so must we that are in Christ Jesus be ready to endure as many of persecution and tribulation that might come our ways as a result of preaching the gospel to all and sundry. They did not suffer as thieves or as busybodies in other men’s matter; they did not endure lack, poverty, hunger, satanic afflictions and sickness, rather they reigned over them. Jesus our Lord and saviour was able to care for twelve, yea seventy disciples without lack all through his ministry here on earth. H

Wise and Harmless People

Monday 30 th December, 2019 The Word of Life Daily Devotional Wise and Harmless People Memory verse: - Matthew 10: 16 Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. Bible Reading: - Matthew 10: 1 – 42 Message A good follower must strive to be like his master like every branch attached to a tree, since they receive saps and nutrients from their host master. Jesus came not be ministered to but to minister and be offered as sacrificial lamb for his people; he channeled the cause of salvation and sent his follower to follow suit. All through his earthly ministry, he was meek, lowly and gentile in the midst of ferocious Pharisees, Sadducees, Scribes and gentiles who never saw anything good about his ministry. He was wise as the wisdom of God knowing when to retreat to mountains for prayers alone with God and when to re – fire in holding forth the word of life. He sent out his twelve disciples according to

How Much More

Faith Food – December 29 By Rhema Team, Dec 29, 2019 How Much More If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?  — MATTHEW 7:11 Would you, as a parent, plan, purpose, and will for your children to go through life poverty-stricken, sick, downtrodden, downcast, down-and-out, with their nose to the grindstone? No! Assuredly not! My younger brother had a difficult time getting his education. Our father left when this brother was only six months old. He graduated from high school during the Depression by working the 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. shift at a local cotton mill and then going to school immediately after work. In time, this brother married, had a son, and became a very successful businessman. He said to me — and I guess this has been a driving force in my brother’s life — “I’d rather let my boy die now than to have it like I had it. But I’m going to see to it that he doesn’t

Guard Your Heart

Health Food – December 28 By Rhema Team, Dec 28, 2019 Guard Your Heart Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.  — PROVERBS 4:23 Proverbs 4:21 says,  “Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.”  You are to keep God’s Word in your heart. Then Proverbs 4:23 tells you to keep or guard your heart. How do you do that? By keeping the Word in your heart! How are you going to keep God’s Word in your heart? By meditating on God’s Word continually. In other words, think deeply about it until it becomes a part of your inner conscience. Don’t just memorize scriptures and forget them. You can memorize scriptures and say them by rote, and they won’t mean a thing in the world to you. Those verses are just in your mind. But, no,  think  on them until they get down into your heart. Feed on them. It will take a little time to do that. But, eventually, the scriptures will register on your heart. God’s words are life unto you and health, or

ALL THINGS ARE YOURS

Words of Life Daily Devotional ALL THINGS ARE YOURS Memory Verse: - Luke  15:31 And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine. Bible Reading:- Lk 15: 11 - 32                                                            MESSAGE Romans  2:4  Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance? On the other hand, the other son; faithful son who remained with the father has all things. By this Jesus is referring to you and I who are faithfully serving the Lord without sliding back; without compromising that we have all things that pertain to life and godliness through the knowledge of him that had called us to glory and virtue. 2 Peter  1:3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whatever your need may be, so far it is according to the will of

A Father’s Part

Faith Food – December 27 By Rhema Team, Dec 27, 2019 A Father’s Part Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be ADDED unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.  — MATTHEW 6:31-34 Added  to you! Not taken away! That proves that the Father cares for His own. Another translation reads, “Be not therefore anxious for the morrow.” You see, God doesn’t want His children to be anxious, or to worry. In today’s passage, God is saying, “Have no worry, no fret, no anxiety. Because I am your Heavenly Father, I know you have need of these things. But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, an

See Yourself Well And Whole

Health Food – December 27 By Rhema Team, Dec 27, 2019 See Yourself Well And Whole Let them  [God’s words]  not depart from thine eyes. . . .  — PROVERBS 4:21 I shared with this dear old woman, “The doctors said I was dying. I lived and relived my death over and over in my mind. In my mind’s eye, I saw the doctors turn my body over to the undertaker to prepare it for burial. I saw them take the casket and go to the church. I saw them roll the casket down the aisle and set it before the pulpit. I heard the people sing the last song and pray the last prayer. I saw them close the lid and roll the casket down the aisle. I saw the pallbearers put it into the hearse. I saw the funeral procession. I saw all of this many times in my mind. I watched as a graveside prayer was said. I saw everyone leave. I saw them put the casket into the ground. I saw the flowers on the fresh mound of dirt. I saw the flowers wither and die. I saw the hot sun of summer beat down on the grave. I saw myself dead. Bu

Keep The Word Before Your Eyes

Health Food – December 26 By Rhema Team, Dec 26, 2019 Keep The Word Before Your Eyes My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.  — PROVERBS 4:20–21 Back in September 1957, I knew an 82-year-old evangelist who had been bedfast for two years with cancer in her stomach. Doctors couldn’t understand how she had lived even that long. When they opened her body up and saw several malignant growths, they just sewed her back up. They said nothing more could be done. I felt led to read her Proverbs 4:20 through 22. I said to her, “When I was on the bed of sickness, I got hold of these verses and saw one place where I had been missing it.” I continued, “Proverbs 4:21 says not to let the Word depart from before your eyes. And this was a turning point for me. You see, I had seen myself dead. And when I got hold of this scripture and put the Word of God before my eyes, I began to see myself alive. I began

The Word, the Life and the Light

Words of Life Daily Devotional The Word, the Life and the Light Memory Verse: - Jn 1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. Bible Reading: - John 1: 1 – 51 Message Jesus our Lord is the man of the moment that comes to this world on purpose – which is to save mankind from satanic rule and dominion. As you celebrate him you need to remember this fact and do not allow the devil to deceive you into promoting what he has come to destroy. Some youths and even adults use this period to indulge in sin of immorality and dubious means of getting money which is the root of all evil. 1Jn 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. You need to sincerely go to Christ at this moment of time asking him to deliver you from satanic bondage of vices such as lying, fraudulent act, wickedness, stealing, immorality etc. He is the Word through which you are ma

Daily Loads of Benefits

Thursday 26 th December, 2019 The Word of Life Daily Devotional Daily Loads of Benefits Memory verse: - Psalms 68:19 Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation . Bible Reading: - Psalms 68:1 – 35 Message As God spares our lives daily, he gives us opportunity to grow higher, deeper and richer in his word; he allows challenges that can toughen our spiritual muscles come our ways and as God of our salvation enables us surmount such obstacles thereby making us stronger in him. He is God that gives strength and power to his people; he is not a feeble or a weak God; he is an able God of our salvation. To every trial and temptation that comes your way daily, he makes a way of escape for you with his enabling grace to bear it. Potiphar’s wayward wife daily besought Joseph to lie with her, but because Joseph depended upon God meditatively and prayerfully coupled with sobriety and watchfulness; he was not crushed under that heavy w

His Glory

Faith Food – December 24 By Rhema Team, Dec 24, 2019 His Glory And the Word became flesh. And pitched his tent among us, And we gazed upon his glory, — A glory . . . Full of favour and truth.  — JOHN 1:14 ( Rotherham ) I love Rotherham’s translation of John 1:14 — it is so beautiful. We’ve tended to think of Christ’s coming to the earth as a man only in terms of His self-denial in leaving glory, or else in terms of His suffering on this earth. But I believe it was a joy to Christ, who so loved man and so desired man’s fellowship, to “pitch His tent” among us so that He might give to alienated man — who had never known his Creator— a true conception of His Heavenly Father. It was  good tidings of great joy  which the angel proclaimed to the shepherds — and to all people everywhere. Man, separated from God for four thousand years, could now gaze upon God’s glory, could now see God, could now know God as He is, and could now be reunited with Him! And the angel said unto them, Fear not: fo

Don’t Neglect The Word

Health Food – December 24 By Rhema Team, Dec 24, 2019 Don’t Neglect The Word My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.  — PROVERBS 4:20–22 When God said, “Attend to My words,” He meant to put everything else out and put His Word in. Put His Word first, above everything else! We need to ask ourselves the question, “What does God’s Word say?” Many times we pray without asking ourselves, “What does God’s Word say on the subject?” I think we endeavor to receive just through prayer what God’s Word offers. But sometimes it doesn’t come through prayer. In other words, if we are going to neglect the Word, prayer won’t work. So find out what God’s Word has to say about your situation, and it will change your prayer life! It’s amazing how many prayers you’ll have to throw away when you find out what God’s Word says about your

Time of Refreshing

Words of Life Daily Devotional Time of Refreshing Memory Verse: - Ac 3:19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord. Bible Reading: - Matt 11: 25 – 30 Message Sin is a burden to sinners; they have not rest within them and are under the fear of death and torment cum afflictions as a result of their sinfulness. Sicknesses, infirmities and diseases are the products of sins for the wages of sin is death [spiritual death – alienation or separation from God]. This was made obvious by Jesus in John 5:14: Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee. A sinner will be restless and full of condemnation for the guilt of evils he had done; hence God said there is no peace for the wicked. The master of a sinner is the devil because he that sinneth is of the devil; and devil is a thief of joy and peace and h

Regard It Not

Tuesday 24 th December, 2019 The Word of Life Daily Devotional Regard It Not Memory verse: - Psalms 66:18 If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me Bible Reading: - Psalms 66: 1 – 20 Message Wrong thought leads to wrong confession and wrong deeds or actions and wrong confession leads to wrong possession. Think right and you will act right and your steps will be ordered by the Lord. God sees us inside out; he knows what is in man and he cannot be mocked or deceived by man. God knows you better than you know yourself, he knows even what you do not know about yourself; and as much as you know your own thought; God knows better. Psalmist had good rapport with God; he was a friend of God and a man testified of God himself to be “a man after his own heart”. He knew God is Holy and that his eyes are purer than to behold iniquity. Therefore, his testimony about God is sure and reliable – that if we regard iniquity in our hearts, the Lord will not hear us.

Our Faultless Saviour

The Word of Life Daily Devotional Our Faultless Saviour Memory Verse: -  Luke 23:4 Then said Pilate to the chief priests and to the people, I find no fault in this man. Bible Reading: - Luke 23: 1 – 56 Message Jesus lived a clean and faultless life here on earth and in the flesh thereby condemned sins in the flesh and proved to us that we can be as perfect as he is; for he said the work I do ye shall do and greater works than he did we shall do because he goes unto his father, your father and our heavenly father. If you are among those that confess Christ and deny his power to live right here in this present world, you need to think twice and know that God will not demand an impossible task from his people; for he is our creator and he knows our frame and our ability. He is coming back for a glorious church – spotless, blameless and faultless church [Eph 5:27]. This is the reason why he died on the cross to cleanse those that believe in his sacrificial work and come to him in faith for

Let Him Be Your Help

Sunday 22 nd December, 2019 The Word of Life Daily Devotional Let Him Be Your Help Memory verse: - Psalms 63:7 Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice. Bible Reading: - Psalms 63:1 – 11 Message The best help one can get is the one from God and not from man; man is limited and cannot help as desired if he himself had not been helped by God. Our God’s power is unlimited, incompressible, unrestricted and unstoppable. He has power to shut the mouth of ferocious lions; he can reverse the verdict of death and even added years to your number of days here on earth; he has power to discomfit your enemies; he opens the door of flourishing and prosperity and no one born of woman can shut it; he is the master over every situation; he is able to do exceeding abundantly more than you ask or think according to his power that worketh in us. If you want to know how helpful, timely and protective God is, read about Daniel in the lions den; th

Healing Is The Dinner Bell

Health Food – December 21 By Rhema Team, Dec 21, 2019 Healing Is The Dinner Bell And they departed, and went through the towns, preaching the gospel, and healing every where.  — LUKE 9:6 As a young pastor, just before my twenty-fourth birthday, I remember hearing Rev. Raymond T. Richey (a man who was used mightily by God in the area of healing) say, “Divine healing is the dinner bell.” I knew exactly what he meant when he said that. At that time people living out in the country had a big bell on their back porch, and when dinner was ready, someone would ring the bell to let everyone in the fields know it was time to eat. When I heard Rev. Richey say that, I wasn’t having healing services at my church on a regular basis. But I said to myself, “I’m going back home, and I’m going to start ringing the dinner bell.” We had Wednesday night, Saturday night, Sunday morning, and Sunday night services. I told the congregation, “Every Saturday night is divine healing night. I’m not going to preac

Power Belongs to God

Saturday 21 st December, 2019 The Word of Life Daily Devotional Power Belongs to God Memory verse: - Psalms 62:11 God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God. Bible Reading: - Psalms 62: 1 – 12 Message The infallible word of God says all power belong to God and Jesus the WORD says all power in heaven above, below and beneath are given unto him and that what he was able to do here on earth believers in him will be able to do likewise and more than that will they be able to do because he goeth unto the father. If you are seeking for real power, I want to tell you that it is not in witchcraft, dark powers, principalities and spiritual wickedness in high places, but in God through Christ. When Jesus Christ was here on earth physically, evil spirits bowed before him; they leave when he bade them to leave; they obeyed him. In like manner when he handed over the baton to his disciples, the power rested upon them and when Philip the evangeli

Mediator

Faith Food – December 19 By Rhema Team, Dec 19, 2019 Mediator For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.  — 1 TIMOTHY 2:5 Man’s condition demanded an Incarnation — man had become spiritually dead with no approach to God. The Incarnation of Deity with humanity provided One who could stand as man’s Mediator. Equal with God on one hand and united with man on the other, this One could assume the obligations of man’s treason and satisfy the claims of Justice, thereby bridging the chasm between God and man. God created man in His own image, just a little lower than Himself; so nearly like God that it was possible for God and man to become united for eternity in one individual! (When Christ became a man and took on a physical body in the Incarnation, He did so for eternity. Therefore, there is a God-man in Heaven today at the Father’s right hand as a result of the Incarnation.)  It was possible for God and man to become united! God can dwell in these hum

The Great Commission

Health Food – December 19 By Rhema Team, Dec 19, 2019 The Great Commission And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. — MARK 16:15–18 In Mark chapter 16, Jesus gave the Great Commission to His disciples. Jesus is about to depart and be with the Father, and His disciples are going to take His place in the earth. They are going to be His representatives and continue His ministry—to do what He would do if He were there. Jesus gave the Great Commission to herald the Good News to a world for whom He died. He revealed that the twofold ministry would continue. First, the Commission was given

Pattern Your Life After Christ

Friday 20th December 2019 The Word of Life Daily Devotional Pattern Your Life After Christ Memory Verse: - Col 2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. Bible Reading: - Col 2:1 – 23 Message There are philosophy and vain deceit of the world, tradition of men and rudiments of the world that are not profitable and not godly and as a child of God you must abstain from them. You must not be ruled or guided by tradition of men because man must not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord. Worldly amusement, rudiments and worldliness in general is enmity against God and whosoever holds unto them becomes God’s enemy. Worldly fashion of wearing strange apparels that do not cover ones nakedness is not of God, but of the world; God says let your moderation be known unto all men for God is at hand; your dressing must not be too flamboyant and must n

Heritage of God’s Worshippers

Thursday 19 th December, 2019 The Word of Life Daily Devotional Heritage of God’s Worshippers Memory verse: - Psalms 61:5 For thou, O God, hast heard my vows: thou hast given me the heritage of those that fear thy name. Bible Reading: - Psalms 61:1 – 8 Message King David, the beloved of God and a man after God’s own heart was in his life time troubled and tried most of the time; but he did not allow self to take over him; he did not rely on the arms of the flesh; he used his weapon of prayer and faith in God appropriately and at the end was counted among the generals of God. Our text today revealed what he uses to do in troublous times; he cries to God in prayer and believes the case is settled and light normally shines in his ways. He said “from the end of the world will I cry unto thee when my heart is overwhelmed, crushed and enveloped by fear” He did not only pray, he believed that God has heard him which is one of the heritages of the servants of God. You mu

Humility

Faith Food – December 17 By Rhema Team, Dec 17, 2019 Humility Who  [Christ Jesus] , being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.  — PHILIPPIANS 2:6-8 Christ has always existed in the form of God. But He emptied Himself and took the form of a bond servant, being made in the likeness of men. This suggests a distinct operation of God totally different from natural generation: A miracle. First, God took Christ from the Godhead in Heaven — and then He placed Christ in the womb of a virgin to be united with flesh in a unique conception. Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me.  — HEBREWS 10:5 God prepared a body — a special body — for this Being called th

Jesus Was Made Sick With Your Sickness

Health Food – December 17 By Rhema Team, Dec 17, 2019 Jesus Was Made Sick With Your Sickness Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin . . .  — ISAIAH 53:10 God not only laid our iniquities upon Jesus, but our diseases as well. Settle that in your heart. Jesus was made sick with our diseases. He was made sin for our sins. In the mind of our Father God and in the mind of Jesus, our diseases and sins were borne by the Lord Jesus Christ. And if they were borne by Him, then it’s wrong for us to bear them. I’ve seen this simple truth get down into the hearts of terminally ill people. The best doctors of medical science said that they would die. But after twenty-five years, they are still alive! So how did this simple truth get down into their hearts? They accepted it as truth. They meditated on it. They spoke it over and over to themselves until it registered on the inside of them. Through the ministry of Christ upon t

The Glory and Joy of Believers

Wednesday 18th December, 2019 The Word of Life Daily Devotional   The Glory and Joy of Believers Memory Verse: - 1Thessalonian 2:20 For ye are our glory and joy. Bible Reading: - 1The 2: 1 – 20 Message According to Proverb 17 verse 6, children’s children are the crown of old men; and the glory of children are their fathers. Spiritually, your spiritual children begotten through prayers, evangelism and diligent follow up are your glory as a believer as revealed by Holy Spirit through Apostle Paul. He also revealed that he travailed in prayers for his little children till Christ is formed in them: Gal 4:19 My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you, You must seek for them prayerfully till Christ is formed in them and they shall be mighty instruments in God’s hand to affect their generation positively for the Lord. As a true believer, you cannot afford to be barren spiritually; you must strive to have converts – your joy, glory and the seal of your f

The Word of God in Believers

Tuesday 17th December, 2019 The Word of Life Daily Devotional The Word of God in Believers Memory Verse: - 1Th 2:13 For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe. Bible Reading: - 1Th 2:1 – 20 Message You and I become children of God as a result of the work of God’s word in us. The word revealed the intent of our hearts that were contrary to God’s precepts and admonitions; it further showed us what to do to become favoured and cheriseth people of God; our faith in the word recreates, renews us and brought us into the kingdom of God because we received it as the word of God and not as the word of men. The word of God is potent, powerful and works effectually in them that believe it as God’s word. It is obvious then that many people that go to church today and yet remain in one sin or the othe

Why the Righteous Suffer

Why the Righteous Suffer Billy Graham's Daily Devotion Dec 16, 2019 God will tenderly comfort you when you undergo these same sufferings . . . –2 Corinthians 1:7 (TLB) This question, "Why must the righteous suffer?" is as old as time. There is only one place that we can find an answer, and that is in the Bible. You do not need to study the Scriptures long to learn why sinners meet reverses and anguish. They are apart from God. Their sorrow is the result of their sins. But why do Christians suffer? Scripture teaches that many Christians suffer so that they may fellowship with others who are in affliction. Only those who have known sorrow and suffering can have fellowship with those in affliction. The Word of God also teaches that Christians suffer in order that they might glorify God in their lives. The Bible further teaches that Christians suffer in order that God might teach them lessons in prayer. Also, Christians suffer in order that God might bring them to repentance.

Eternal Things

Monday 16th December, 2019 Words of Life Devotional                    Eternal Things Memory Verse: - 2Co 4:18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. Bible Reading: - Luke 21: 1 – 6 Message Mundane things that look attractive that devil dangles before believers are temporal, they cannot last forever, they cannot endure till eternity; and that is the more reason we must be wise and place more value on eternal things that are incorruptible preserved for the saints. Jesus was asked to behold a temple that was adorned with goodly stones and gifts and he let them know that no matter how beautiful things of the earth may appear to be, they are but for a short time, they cannot endure till eternity. Remember the rich man in Luke 16 who while on earth here fared sumptuously everyday with male and female servants serving him; but after death he could not see
