                   Eternal Things
Memory Verse: - 2Co 4:18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
Bible Reading: - Luke 21: 1 – 6
Message
Mundane things that look attractive that devil dangles before believers are temporal, they cannot last forever, they cannot endure till eternity; and that is the more reason we must be wise and place more value on eternal things that are incorruptible preserved for the saints.
Jesus was asked to behold a temple that was adorned with goodly stones and gifts and he let them know that no matter how beautiful things of the earth may appear to be, they are but for a short time, they cannot endure till eternity.
Remember the rich man in Luke 16 who while on earth here fared sumptuously everyday with male and female servants serving him; but after death he could not see any of them, rather he was asking for just a drop of water to quench his thirst.
Be wise and lay your treasures in heaven where neither moth nor thieves can reach to destroy or cart them away. If you are rich naturally without any diabolical means, use it for God’s glory; but first of all give yourself to the Lord, then your offering shall be acceptable by the Lord with sumptuous reward awaiting you in the eternity from the Lord who is faithful and will not forget your service of love which you have render here on earth.
He acknowledged the offering of that widow, he saw it all that she has cast in all her living – it is a sacrificial giving. If you do not have money, you have time and vitality with one talent or the other that God had given you; use it profitably for the Lord and you will be rich towards God with your treasures in heaven.
Look at eternal things, think of heavenly things where Christ who is our hope is and do all that is expected of you to get there. Unseen things, spiritual things are eternal and worthy to be sought after and let this mind be in you which was also in Christ who for the hope of eternal things placed before him endures the cross.
God cannot lie, he had said eternal things are everlasting and have no end and those that will inherit them shall forever enjoy them – heavenly bliss, heavenly mansion, heavenly crown and fellowship with saints, angels, Christ and even God himself. How beautiful heaven must be? And it shall be an amazing experience to be there. You will be there, I shall be there and we shall rejoice together in Jesus name.
Confession of the Day
I will value eternal things more than earthly, mundane, and temporal things for wisdom have taught me so.
 Prayer Points
Christ my Lord, dwell in me richly day by day as I read my Bible and help me to lay my treasures in heaven by living right everyday and laboring to populate the kingdom. Be my guide, guard and shield everytime in Jesus name. [Amen]

May 3 SUPPLYING OUR NEEDS But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. — PHILIPPIANS 4:19 It is God’s will that our needs be met. All of them! Philippians 4:19 includes all of your needs (all means all!), whether spiritual, physical, material, or financial. Believe that! Lest someone think that God is not concerned about our financial needs, this verse is set in a context which discusses material and financial affairs. Read it and you will see that the Philippians had taken up an offering of money and goods to send to other Christians. Paul was telling them, “Because you have given to others and have helped them, my God shall supply all your need.” So Paul was talking about material and financial matters.
