Our Faultless Saviour

The Word of Life Daily Devotional
Our Faultless Saviour
Memory Verse:-  Luke 23:4 Then said Pilate to the chief priests and to the people, I find no fault in this man.
Bible Reading: - Luke 23: 1 – 56
Message
Jesus lived a clean and faultless life here on earth and in the flesh thereby condemned sins in the flesh and proved to us that we can be as perfect as he is; for he said the work I do ye shall do and greater works than he did we shall do because he goes unto his father, your father and our heavenly father.
If you are among those that confess Christ and deny his power to live right here in this present world, you need to think twice and know that God will not demand an impossible task from his people; for he is our creator and he knows our frame and our ability.
He is coming back for a glorious church – spotless, blameless and faultless church [Eph 5:27]. This is the reason why he died on the cross to cleanse those that believe in his sacrificial work and come to him in faith for their purging and cleansing from inward and outward sins.
Behold Elisabeth and Zachariah her husband in the book of Luke 1: 5 how under the old testament dispensation, they walked in the precepts and ordinances of God blameless, what shall we say of the apostles and the early church who in Antioch were first called Christian when they observed and compared their lifestyle to that of Christ.
Ac 11:26 And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.
We need to set Christ before us all the time and look unto him in every issues of life for thus we are commanded by God through Paul the apostle that:
Heb 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
He is our worthy and faultless saviour as we can see in our text today, Pilate found no fault in him; Herod sent him back to Pilate because he found him guiltless, the thief on the cross said he had done nothing amiss; the centurion who saw what was done at his crucifixion said certainly, this was a righteous man; and Jesus himself before going to the cross said the god of this world came and find nothing in me:
Jn 14:30 Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.
We have cloud of witnesses round about us in the Old and New Testament; we are inexcusable for if we fail to live right they will rise in judgment to condemn us. Let us strive to live for him daily and die daily.
Confession of the Day: - I will by his grace live for him day after day till I see him in glory.
Prayer Points: - Lord, help me to live above sin, flesh, Satan and the world every day. Give me power to live according to words every time in Jesus name. [Amen]
