Regard It Not
Memory verse: - Psalms 66:18 If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me
Bible Reading: - Psalms 66: 1 – 20
Message
Wrong thought leads to wrong confession and wrong deeds or actions and wrong confession leads to wrong possession. Think right and you will act right and your steps will be ordered by the Lord.
God sees us inside out; he knows what is in man and he cannot be mocked or deceived by man. God knows you better than you know yourself, he knows even what you do not know about yourself; and as much as you know your own thought; God knows better.
Psalmist had good rapport with God; he was a friend of God and a man testified of God himself to be “a man after his own heart”. He knew God is Holy and that his eyes are purer than to behold iniquity. Therefore, his testimony about God is sure and reliable – that if we regard iniquity in our hearts, the Lord will not hear us.
Iniquity therefore, is a barrier, hinderance and a wall of partition between man and God in having our prayers answered.
In view of this, allow it not within you, regard it not, ruminate not over the impure, dirty and filthy thought dangles before you by the devil and his agents. You are to do this yourself; for that which is of good report we must think about, and you know yourself very well than any other person,
You do yourself a lot of good by choosing not to allow impure thought or iniquity within you because it will make your prayers to be heard by God. Jesus will help you if you call upon him; and cleanse your thought or heart by the blood of the lamb.
Philippians 4:8 says “finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
Secret sins and thought locked up within us will do us no good; jettison them; cast them away in the name of the Lord lifting up your holy hand and pure hearts to God in prayers and you will be surprise what the Lord will do for you.
Confession of the Day
I will not regard iniquity in my inward part; I will think on things approved by God through his word; I will meditate upon his word day and night. I will keep his word within my heart so that I don’t sin against him.
Prayer Points

Oh Lord circumcise my heart; perform thy surgical operation within me and give me clean and pure heart through the sprinkled blood of the lamb.

May 3 SUPPLYING OUR NEEDS But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. — PHILIPPIANS 4:19 It is God’s will that our needs be met. All of them! Philippians 4:19 includes all of your needs (all means all!), whether spiritual, physical, material, or financial. Believe that! Lest someone think that God is not concerned about our financial needs, this verse is set in a context which discusses material and financial affairs. Read it and you will see that the Philippians had taken up an offering of money and goods to send to other Christians. Paul was telling them, “Because you have given to others and have helped them, my God shall supply all your need.” So Paul was talking about material and financial matters.
