El Shaddai

Faith Food – December 1 By Rhema Team, Dec 1, 2019 El Shaddai And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I AM THE ALMIGHTY GOD; walk before me, and be thou perfect.  — GENESIS 17:1 The original Hebrew of this Old Testament verse reads that God said, “I am El Shaddai.” God was revealed to Israel by seven covenant names, one of which was El Shaddai — which literally means “the God who is more than enough,” or “the All-Sufficient One.” It will help your faith to think of God as “the One who is more than enough!” Throughout the Old Testament, God revealed Himself as El Shaddai — the God who is more than enough. For example, as God was bringing the children of Israel out of Egyptian bondage, Pharaoh’s soldiers went after them to recapture them and make them slaves again. On one side of the children of Israel was the wilderness; on the other side, mountains. The Red Sea lay before them. They seemingly were boxed in, but they looked to God...

Faith And Power

Health Food – November 30 By Rhema Team, Nov 30, 2019 Faith And Power Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power.  — 2 THESSALONIANS 1:11 I remember one gentleman whom I laid hands on fifteen or sixteen times during the course of an extended meeting we held. I thought to myself,  That poor fellow! Dear Lord, I’ve laid hands on him, and every time, it’s like laying hands on a doorknob . But somehow, he eventually got his faith into action. I was standing on the platform and laying hands on people as they walked by. Usually, I lay hands on people and pray, but since I had already laid hands on this man many times, I intended to just touch him and send him on his way. I thought,  He is not going to get anything, anyway . But when I touched the man’s forehead, he jerked the power of God out of me until all I could see in my eyes was what looked l...

Polluted Land

Sunday 1 st December, 2019 The Word of Life Daily Devotional Polluted Land Memory verse : - Numbers 35:33 So ye shall not pollute the land wherein ye are : for blood it defileth the land: and the land cannot be cleansed of the blood that is shed therein, but by the blood of him that shed it. Bible Reading: - Numbers 35:1 – 34 Message Today’s text reveals that an innocent blood shed deliberately cannot be cleansed except by the blood of him that shed such blood; meaning if you kill a person intentionally you must also be killed in return to balance the equation; otherwise, that is blood shed unknowingly shall be overlooked after thorough investigation that it was not intentional but the slayer shall abide in the land of refuge till the anointed high priest at that time died before being restored to his homeland. It is that serious. God that gave them such command then is still the same God today, he has not changed; he hastes shedding of blood because it pollutes the lan...

Presence

Presence Billy Graham's Daily Devotion Nov 30, 2019 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings . . . –Philippians 3:10 W.C. Burns of India wrote, "Oh to have a martyr's heart, if not a martyr's crown." Popularity and adulation are far more dangerous for the Christian than persecution. It is easy, when all goes smoothly, to lose our sense of balance and our perspective. The important thing is to walk with Christ, to live for Christ, and to have one consuming passion—to please Him. Then, whatever happens, we know that He has permitted it in order to teach us some priceless lesson and to perfect us for His service. He will enrich our circumstances, be they pleasant or disagreeable, by the fact of His presence with us.  What does living for Christ look like? Read: Choosing the Path of Holiness. PRAYER FOR THE DAY Lord, my soul wants to love and know You far more deeply. Forgive the times I have set my eyes on things th...

Midnight Praise

Faith Food – November 29 By Rhema Team, Nov 29, 2019 Midnight Praise And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.  — ACTS 16:25 Singing, praising, and thanksgiving all go together. Paul and Silas had been beaten with many stripes, cast into prison, and their feet put in stocks. But at midnight they prayed and sang praises to God — aloud. The other prisoners heard them! Most people in similar circumstances would have griped and complained. If they had been like some modern Christians, Silas would have said, “Paul, are you still there?” And Paul would have answered, “Where else would I be?” Silas would have complained, “I’ll tell you, my poor back is hurting so bad. I don’t understand why God let this happen to us. He knows we’ve tried to serve Him and do our best!” That kind of praying would have gotten Paul and Silas further in — instead of out! God didn’t have them thrown in jail; the devil did. But there’s truth and instruction h...

‘They Jerked The Power Of God Out Of Me!’

Health Food – November 29 By Rhema Team, Nov 29, 2019 ‘They Jerked The Power Of God Out Of Me!’ To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.  — PSALM 63:2 I’ve laid hands on people for healing, ministering to them by faith the healing power of God. And I knew it when that healing power went into them. I felt it in my hands as it went into them. But somehow, many weren’t even conscious of it. It was like I had laid my hands on a doorknob. There was no response. I’ve seen those same people come back with their faith active and say, “Just put your hand on me. I’ll receive right now.” I’d reach out to touch them, and it seemed like they jerked the power of God out of me! I remember one woman in particular. I didn’t know it was going to happen. I didn’t even know what had happened afterward until I started getting up! You see, when I laid hands on her, the power of God came out of me so strong that she fell, and I fell on top of her! I didn’t even know I had ...

Satan at Work

Satan at Work Billy Graham's Daily Devotion Nov 29, 2019 In whom we have redemption . . . the forgiveness of sins. –Ephesians 1:7 Satan is at work in our world. The Bible is my authority. He exists and he has control over thousands of young people, whose hearts have never been captured by Jesus Christ. He has hundreds of agents writing pornographic literature and producing sex movies to pollute young minds. He has intellectuals in high positions teaching a hedonistic and permissive philosophy. Daily I come in contact with mixed-up people who are caught in the anguish of their own unpreparedness, intellectuals who have been seduced by false science, and rich men who are held in the grip of insecurity. They have no commitment to any goal. They lack an anchor for their real selves. And I long to take every one of them by the hand and lead them into the presence of the One who said, "Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."  Is Satan rea...

Give Thanks Well

Faith Food – November 28 By Rhema Team, Nov 28, 2019 Give Thanks Well For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries. . . . For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful. What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also. Else when thou shalt bless with the spirit, how shall he that occupieth the room of the unlearned say Amen at thy giving of thanks, seeing he understandeth not what thou sayest? For thou verily givest thanks well, but the other is not edified.  — 1 CORINTHIANS 14:2,14-17 God has given to the Church a divine, supernatural means of communication with Himself! God is a Spirit. When we speak in tongues, our spirit is in direct contact with God, who is a Spirit! We are talking to Him by a divine, supernatural ...

The Power Has A Purpose

Health Food – November 28 By Rhema Team, Nov 28, 2019 The Power Has A Purpose . . . and the power of the Lord was present to heal them.  — LUKE 5:17 I remember an Assembly of God traveling minister who received a thrilling revelation concerning the power of God. One Saturday night, he was ministering in a certain church. As the congregation was singing, he was sitting on the platform. Suddenly, a surge of power came into the little church room and went through his body. He could have jumped up and started shouting, but he didn’t. He just held steady. They kept on singing, and a surge of power swept over the whole crowd. “The third time, that power swept over me again,” he said, “I could have shouted, jumped, run, or done all three at one time! I literally had to hold on to the pew to keep myself down. It seemed like I was going to float away.” He said to the Lord, “I know You must have some purpose for this other than for me to just shout and have a good time in the Lord. I believe...

Your Secured In and Out.

Words of Life Daily Devotional Your Secured In and Out. Memory Verse: - Ps 121:8 The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore. Bible Reading: - Psalm 121: 1 – 8 Message It is by the mercies of God that we go out and come in everyday safely, unhurt, whole, safe and sound, uninjured and unscathed; considering the dangers out there. For out there (without) are dogs, sorcerers (blood sucking demons) and whoremongers (the lewd, adulterers), and murderers (ritualists, men sellers, men slayers, men eaters, and suicide bombers), idolaters and everyone who loves and deals in falsehood – untruth, error, deception, cheating etc. [Rev22:15] We are in an evil, wicked, adulterous and perverse world full of insecurity, but God knows how to preserve His own from the wickedness all around us; the Lord shall preserve thee from all evil, he shall preserve thy soul. He knows how to hold you back if there is danger ahead of you. I read about how God pr...

The Sufficiency of God

The Sufficiency of God Billy Graham's Daily Devotion Nov 28, 2019 I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. –John 10:10 In God's economy, you must go down into the valley of grief before you can scale the heights of spiritual glory. You must become tired and weary of living alone before you seek and find the fellowship of Christ. You must come to the end of "self" before you can begin to live. The happiest day of my life was when I realized that my own ability, my own goodness, and my own morality were insufficient in the sight of God. I am not exaggerating when I say that my mourning was turned to joy, and my sighing into singing. Happy are they that mourn for the inadequacy of self, for they shall be comforted with the sufficiency of God.  Looking for comfort? Listen to this 60 second audio message. PRAYER FOR THE DAY Almighty God, You have given me real life through Jesus Christ. My soul praises You.

Be Filled

Faith Food – November 27 By Rhema Team, Nov 27, 2019 Be Filled Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.  — COLOSSIANS 3:16,17 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.  — 1 THESSALONIANS 5:18 Notice how yesterday’s scripture and today’s scripture are very similar. A song in the heart and the giving of thanks simply go hand-in-hand. And if you are filled with the Holy Spirit, you will experience this praise and this thanksgiving. If you don’t, then you’re simply not filled with the Spirit. Be filled! ( See  John 7:37-39, 14:16,17; Acts 1:4,5, 2:4, 8:14-17, 10:44-46, 19:1-3,6.) Then you’ll have a spirit of praise and a spirit of thanksgiving. Confession:  I let the w...

Live And Declare The Works Of The Lord

Health Food – November 27 By Rhema Team, Nov 27, 2019 Live And Declare The Works Of The Lord I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.  — PSALM 118:17 In this  Reader’s Digest  article, it also stated that a person couldn’t be an officer in the United States Navy if he’d ever had a deadly disease. So after he was healed, this admiral couldn’t go back to being an officer. He appeared before Congress. I was impressed by the speech that he made. He told them about his healing and then he said, “Since being out of the hospital and reading the Bible daily, I’ve found that God has promised us at least seventy or eighty years, and I’m not even half that old. I could get a pension and sit down the rest of my life. But I want you gentlemen to know that I’m going to live my life out. I’m going to live for God first and my country second. Serving my country is all I’ve ever been trained for, and I want to serve my country. But I’m going to serve God first.” By a ...

I am That I am

Words of Life Daily Devotional I am That I am Memory Verse: - Ex 3:14 And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you. Bible Reading: - Ex 3: 1 – 22 Message God that answers prayers and to whom all flesh must come in a bid to finding solutions to their problems and destructions revealed himself to Moses in a flame of fire in our text this morning as I AM THAT I AM. God is whom he is yesterday, today and forever. He heard the cries of Israelites from holy heaven and come down to deliver them from their afflictions and servitude. I am that I am is still whom He is today – he hears and answers prayers; he saves and delivers from afflictions; he is alive yesterday and today; he is as powerful today as he was yesterday; he was mighty yesterday in the days of old and is more powerful today than yesterday. His power was only given to prophets in the Old Testament, but the believers today under the New Testament ...

Spirit-Filled

Faith Food – November 26 By Rhema Team, Nov 26, 2019 Spirit-Filled And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.  — EPHESIANS 5:18-20 “I just can’t thank God like I should,” some people have said. You can if you follow Paul’s admonition in Ephesians 5:18-20, “. . .  be filled with the Spirit  . . . .” And just after giving this admonition to these Pentecostal people, Paul gives some ways to keep filled with the Spirit: “ Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord. ” An overflowing heart will be your testimony! Your cup will be full and running over! You will have a song in your heart! “ Giving thanks always for all things  . . . .” Your heart is thankfu...

Listen To Your Spirit

Health Food – November 26 By Rhema Team, Nov 26, 2019 Listen To Your Spirit The spirit of man is the candle of the Lord, searching all the inward parts of the belly.  — PROVERBS 20:27 This young admiral who was dying of liver cancer then said to the Lord, “I know the doctor said that ninety percent of my liver is already eaten up with cancer and that I’m operating on ten percent of it. I know the doctor said that I’ll be dead in ten days. I’m not afraid to die now. But I just can’t believe that it is Your will for me to die at my age and leave my wife and two children. I can’t believe that. I know that You can do anything. I know that if I had a headache, You could heal a headache. I’m sure You have that much power. But it would be just as easy for You to heal cancer of the liver as it would be to heal a headache. I’m going to ask You to heal me, and believe that You’ll do it.” Scriptures began to come back to him that he learned as a child in Sunday school. He began to quote them....

Strength of Believers

The Word of Life Daily Devotional                Strength of Believers Memory Verse:- Php 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. Bible Reading: - Php 4: 1 – 23 Message The strength of believers is in Christ the vine because they are glued or attached to the Christ the vine as branches. Our nourishment and sustenance is from him and as long as we remain in him we can do all things. In Christ Jesus we have life and our names are written in the book of life; we are new creatures with old nature of sins bruised under our feet; without him we are oppressed of the devil, demons, witches, wizards and powers of darkness, but in him we reign with him in heavenly places far above them having dominion over them in sound health and spiritual prosperity; and having our needs met by him who love us and has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness. We pray for the sick who believes that God is their healer through Christ an...

A Great Plan

Faith Food – November 25 By Rhema Team, Nov 25, 2019 A Great Plan Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree.  — GALATIANS 3:13 Part of the inheritance that Colossians 1:12-14 tells us we should be giving thanks to the Father for, is “. . .  redemption through his blood  . . . ” (v. 14). What are we redeemed from? From the curse of the law. And what is the curse of the law? The only way to find out, is to go to the law and see what it says the curse is. The term “the law,” as found in the New Testament, refers to the first five books of the Bible, the Pentateuch. Reading there, we find that the curse, or punishment, for breaking God’s law is threefold: 1. Spiritual death (Gen. 2:17) 2. Poverty (Deut. 28:15-68) 3. Sickness (Deut. 28:15-68) Galatians 3:13 tells us that Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, and Colossians 1:12-14 tells us to thank God for our redempti...

The Prodigal Son

Health Food – November 25 By Rhema Team, Nov 25, 2019 The Prodigal Son It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found.  — LUKE 15:32 In the 1950s, I read a testimony in  Reader’s Digest  which was endorsed by the Secretary of the Navy. He stated, “All of these facts are true, and we endorse this article to show what faith and prayer will do.” One of the youngest officers ever in the United States Navy—an admiral— got cancer. Ninety percent of his liver was gone. He was functioning on ten percent of his liver when the cancer was discovered. They put him in the “terminal ward” at the hospital. Everyone who was placed there was given up to die. The doctors said that he would be dead in ten days. The young officer shared, “The fear in that death ward was so much in manifestation that it seemed you could cut it with a knife. The very atmosphere was filled with fear. I was too! But as I lay there...

A RENEWED MIND

Tuesday November 26th 2019               The Word of Life Daily Devotional                        A RENEWED MIND MEMORY VERSE: - Ro 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. BIBLE READING: - Psalm 1: 1 – 3 MESSAGE By inspiration, Paul revealed to us from the above Bible passage that God wants submitted bodies, and transformed minds. The mind in this context is referring to your soul and the reason for that is that God knows that is your greatest defense against Satan. WHEN YOUR MIND IS RENEWED with the word, your thinking is transformed leading to transformation in your action. You are indeed renewed or transformed when your thinking and acting is transformed. The Bible says when your mind is renewed; you will know what the good, the acceptable, and the p...

Whose Son Is He?

Whose Son Is He? Billy Graham's Daily Devotion Nov 25, 2019 To us there is but one God, the Father . . . and one Lord Jesus Christ . . . –1 Corinthians 8:6 Ultimately, in one way or another, or at one time or another, we shall be faced with this question: What think ye of Christ? Whose Son is He? If Jesus Christ is not who He claimed to be, He is a deceiver, or an egomaniac. We must answer this question with both belief and action. We must not only believe something about Jesus, but we must do something about Him. We must accept Him, or reject Him. Jesus made clear who He was, and why He came into the world. He asked His disciples, "Whom do men say that I, the Son of man, am?" They told Him of a variety of designations on the human level. Then Jesus turned to them and asked, "But whom say ye that I am?" Whereupon Peter replied with his historic affirmation, "Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God" (Matthew 16:13-16). This is the apex of faith. ...

Changing Of Lords

Faith Food – November 24 By Rhema Team, Nov 24, 2019 Changing Of Lords For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.  — ROMANS 6:14 Another translation of today’s text reads, “For sin shall not lord it over you.” Sin and Satan are synonymous terms. Therefore, we could read this verse, “For Satan shall not have dominion over you,” or “Satan shall not lord it over you.” The reason why Satan cannot lord it over you is found in Colossians 1:13 — the Father has delivered you out from under Satan’s control and dominion. The moment you were born again and became a new creature in Christ Jesus, Jesus became your Lord. Now He is the One who dominates you; Satan is no longer your lord. Satan can no longer lord it over you. When you were born again, Satan’s dominion over you ended — and Jesus’ dominion over you began! And anything that is of Satan — sickness, disease, bad habits, or whatever — can no longer lord it over you! Confession:  Jesus i...

No Comparison!

Health Food – November 24 By Rhema Team, Nov 24, 2019 No Comparison! And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.  — NUMBERS 13:30 In Numbers chapter 13, we read that twelve spies were sent to spy out the land of Canaan. Ten of them brought back an evil report; they came back talking doubt. They said, “We can’t take the land. We aren’t able to do it.” But two of the spies, Joshua and Caleb, said, “Let us go up at once and possess it. For we are well able to overcome it.” That means, “We can do it!” You know, the crises of life come to all of us. Don’t think you are just going to float through life on flowery beds of ease. But my faith has been buoyed up and my confidence strengthened by just simply looking that problem, test, or trial in the face and saying, “Greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world” (1 John 4:4). Then I begin shouting about it. While I’m shouting, I look around and t...

Life Eternal

Monday. November 25th 2019                The Word of Life Daily Devotional                                Life Eternal Memory Verse: - Jn 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. Bible Reading : - Luke 9: 1 – 62                             Message Jesus wanted to know whether his disciples truly knew who he was, so he asked them, who do you think I am?  Simeon Peter said “The Christ of God” meaning the anointed one of God; son of the living God [Mt 16:16]. The only true God is the God our creator – the maker of heaven and earth through Jesus our Lord and saviour for all things were made by him and without him was nothing made. He is the word of God through whom all things were created; he has been with God right from beg...

Thank You, Father

Faith Food – November 23 By Rhema Team, Nov 23, 2019 Thank You, Father Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins.  — COLOSSIANS 1:12-14 The New Covenant tells us we should be giving thanks unto the Father because He has made us able to be partakers of something. Of what? “. . .  Of the inheritance of the saints in light ”! The Amplified Bible  translates verse 13 as, “[The Father] has delivered and drawn us to Himself out of the control and the dominion of darkness . . . .” God Himself has delivered us from the control of Satan! Satan’s kingdom is the kingdom of darkness. God’s kingdom is the kingdom of light. The Father has made us able to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light. He has delivered us out fro...

Mix Faith With The Power

Health Food – November 23 By Rhema Team, Nov 23, 2019 Mix Faith With The Power For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.  — HEBREWS 4:2 Some time later, I was preaching in what was then my home church in Garland, Texas. After the service, the pastor and his wife along with my wife and I decided to go to Dallas to eat lunch. We were sitting at a restaurant and a young woman walked into the restaurant with her mother and father. It was this young woman I had prayed for! She was walking just as well as anyone. She came over to the table and talked to us. She said, “Brother Hagin, do you remember telling me that I would walk?” I said, “I sure do. I knew that you would if you mixed  your  faith with God’s power. I knew that the power of God was ministered to you.” It was the next morning when her faith gave action to the power that had already been ministered to her bo...

God is no Respecter of Persons

Sunday November 24th 2018 Words of Life Daily Devotional God is no Respecter of Persons Memory Verse: - Ex 30:15 The rich shall not give more, and the poor shall not give less than half a shekel, when they give an offering unto the Lord, to make an atonement for your souls. Bible Reading: - Ex 30: 1 – 38 Message In today’s text, God commanded Moses to charge children of Israel to pay half a shekel to make an atonement for their souls anytime they are counted to avoid plague among them. God is the maker of the rich and poor, white and black, Jews and gentiles, learned and barbarians, man and woman, young and old. He treats them all alike when it comes to the salvation of their souls which is precious in his sight.  Pr 22:2 The rich and poor meet together: the Lord is the maker of them all. The soul of the rich and poor are alike precious to God and the same faith in Christ and repentance from all sins must be exercised by both of them before forgiveness can be obtained from God. God...

Avoid Self Delusion

The Word of Life Daily Devotional                             Avoid Self Delusion Memory Verse: - Luke 12:2 For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known. Bible Reading: - Luke 12: 1 – 52                               Message It is nothing but self delusion to indulge in secret sins and think all is right with you. The heart of man is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked and can only be known by God. Your secrets can be hidden from all men, but can never be hidden from God of whom we have to deal; he knows you in and out; he knows the intent of your heart; he knows why you do that which you do and by him actions are weighed. Let’s call to mind the discussion that came up between Jesus and Nathanael: Jn 1:47 – 51 Jesus saw Natha...

Pattern Your Life After Christ

The Word of Life Daily Devotional                 Pattern Your Life After Christ Memory Verse: - Col 2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. Bible Reading: - Col 2:1 – 23                               Message There are philosophy and vain deceit of the world, tradition of men and rudiments of the world that are not profitable and not godly and as a child of God you must abstain from them. You must not be ruled or guided by tradition of men because man must not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord. Worldly amusement, rudiments and worldliness in general is enmity against God and whosoever holds unto them becomes God’s enemy. Worldly fashion of wearing strange apparels that do not...

First Of All

Faith Food – November 20 By Rhema Team, Nov 20, 2019 First Of All I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority  . . . . — 1 TIMOTHY 2:1,2 When we follow the directions in God’s Word and put first things first, we get results. This is especially true in regard to Scripture. If we follow the directions and put first things first, we can expect to receive from God the things He has provided for us. “First of all” means first of all. But also notice that along with supplications, along with prayers, along with intercessions, the Word inserts, “giving of thanks.” Lest we misunderstand exactly who he is talking about, Paul goes on to tell us exactly who these “all men” are. “Kings” would include presidents, rulers, and other leaders of nations. “All that are in authority” would include state, county, and city leaders, etc. If we as Christians want to please God, who w...

You Can Begin To Amend

Health Food – November 20 By Rhema Team, Nov 20, 2019 You Can Begin To Amend Then enquired he  [the father]  of them the hour when he  [his son]  began to amend. And they said unto him, Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him. So the father knew that it was at the same hour, in the which Jesus said unto him, Thy son liveth. . . .  — JOHN 4:52–53 I want you to remember the woman I told you about who came by ambulance to a meeting I held in California. As I said before, she had a special nurse with her. I never saw so much medical equipment at a church service! I mean, she had a machine that was breathing for her, and it made a lot of noise. Without that machine, she would die. As I was laying hands on people, I went over to this woman. I asked the nurse, “Can she hear and understand what someone says?” She said, “Yes, she can understand. She can’t respond much, but she can understand you.” I bent down close to her ear because the machine was making so mu...

Life Worth Living

Life Worth Living Billy Graham's Daily Devotion Nov 21, 2019 . . . ye might have life through his name. –John 20:31 "Is life worth living?" To scores of people life has ceased to be worth living. UNIMAGINABLE DESTRUCTION

DAILY    MANNA THURSDAY 21ST NOVEMBER, 2019   UNIMAGINABLE DESTRUCTION TEXT: REVELATION 18:21-24 KEY VERSE: “And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all” (REVELATION 18:21).   International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War estimated in 2013 that two billion people would starve in the wake of a limited atomic bomb war between only two countries. OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL DATE:  WEDNESDAY 20TH NOVEMBER 2019 THEME: HOW TO FLOURISH IN LIFE. MEMORISE: If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: Isaiah 1:19 READ: Isaiah 1:19-20 19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: 20 But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it. Beloved, God knows more than you do. Isaiah 40:28 says there is no searching of His un...

Bible Reading: Romans 9:1 – 32 Message Abraham the father of faith and a friend of God had two popular sons known as Ishmael and Isaac; one is legitimate child (born by Sarah his wife) and the other by his mistress or handmaid; Isaac was the promise child of God while Ishmael was an illegitimate child of Abraham born out wedlock. Both of them are children of Abraham, but Isaac is the child of promise and that of God from which the true children of God shall be called. In like manner, every human being in the world today are creatures of God; but not all are children of God. True children of God are the “BORN AGAINS”; the regenerated and translated children of God reigning in heavenly places with Christ far above principalities and powers; the...
