You Can Rule And Reign

Health Food – December 15 By Rhema Team, Dec 15, 2019 You Can Rule And Reign But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.  — ROMANS 5:15 Romans 5:17 says, “ For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.”  Where do we reign? We reign  in life ! Instead of Satan, spiritual death, sickness, disease, and poverty reigning over us, we reign over them! The Amplified Bible  says, “For if because of one man’s trespass (lapse, offense) death reigned through that one, much more surely will those who receive [God’s] overflowing grace (unmerited favor) and the free gift of righteousness [putting them into right standing with Himself]  reign as kings in life  through the one Man Jesus ...

Strong Believers

Words of Life Daily Devotional                 Strong Believers Memory Verse: - Isa 40:31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Bible Reading: - Luke 22: 1 – 71 Message Some believers cringe, weep and become discouraged when they are face with challenges of life, adverse situations or life threatening problems like:  Hagar despite the fact that she had been with Abraham’s family for so long a time, but did not learn to pray in time of adversity; Children of Israel in the wilderness when they were faced with one problem or the other, rather they took to complaints and murmurings against God and his chosen servants; Disciples of Christ in the garden of Gethsemane, rather they slept when they ought to agonize with the Lord in prayers. Peter in the prison who thought it was over and gave in to fate rather than cha...

He Hears You

He Hears You Billy Graham's Daily Devotion Dec 14, 2019 If we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us. –1 John 5:14 God has said, "If my people . . . pray . . . then will I hear from heaven." Before three thousand people were brought into the Church on the day of Pentecost, the disciples had spent ten days in prayer, fasting, and spiritual travail. God desires that Christians be concerned and burdened for a lost world. If we pray this kind of prayer, an era of peace may come to the world and the hordes of wickedness may be turned back.  How can you be sure God hears you? Billy Graham answers. PRAYER FOR THE DAY Almighty God, burden my heart for those in the world who have not experienced Your peace in their lives.

From Everlasting

Faith Food – December 14 By Rhema Team, Dec 14, 2019 From Everlasting But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.  — MICAH 5:2 This remarkable prophetic utterance about One who would be born of the family of Judah to be a Ruler in Israel states that His goings forth were from of old, from everlasting. He has traveled up and down through eternity, and He has left His footprints on the ages! Too frequently people simply look at the physical side of Jesus’ birth and talk about His being born as a little babe, when actually He preexisted with the Father from the beginning! The Person we now know as Jesus Christ is one of the three Divine Persons of the Deity.  As God,  He had no beginning . Confession:  The goings forth of Christ, my Lord, were from of old, from everlasting. As God, He had no beginnin...

Thou Art Loosed’

Health Food – December 14 By Rhema Team, Dec 14, 2019 ‘Thou Art Loosed’ And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity.  — LUKE 13:12 There are several scriptural references in which Christ’s attitude toward disease is clearly shown. I think one of the best is in Luke chapter 13. Jesus loosed a woman from a spirit of infirmity on the Sabbath day. She’d had the disease for eighteen years. The rulers of the synagogue criticized Jesus for healing the woman on the Sabbath. He answered,  “And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?”  (v. 16). Jesus clearly stated that Satan was the cause of the infirmity that had bound her physical body. Another instance is found in Mark chapter 2. A man with the palsy was brought to Jesus, and Jesus said,  “. . . Son, thy sins be forgiven thee”  (v. 5). When the scribe...

Effect of Prayer and Watchfulness on Temptation

14th December, 2019 The Word of Life Daily Devotional Effect of Prayer and Watchfulness on Temptation Memory Verse: - Luke 22:40 And when he was at the place, he said unto them, Pray that ye enter not into temptation. Bible Reading: - Luke 22:1 – 71 Message It is a common saying that “a prayer less Christian is a powerless Christian and vice versa” Jesus when he was about to go through torture, beatings, scourging and cruel crowing of thorns warned his disciples to watch and pray, so that they do not fall into temptation. He knows best, he knew what was about to befall him and what disciples would possibly do at that moment, hence he warned them ahead. And he said in the scriptures that what he told them, he tells every one of us – watch and pray: [Mk 13:37] A watchful and prayerful believer will not fall into temptation because at the point of prayer greater grace is received; grace is multiplied. This happened to the early church in Acts 4 verses 31 and 33: Acts 4:31 And when they ha...

Immanuel

Faith Food – December 12 By Rhema Team, Dec 12, 2019 Immanuel And he  [Ahaz]  said, Hear ye now, O house of David; Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will ye weary my God also? Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.  — ISAIAH 7:13,14 God began to speak through His prophets, promising that a Redeemer would come who would break Satan’s dominion and restore to man his lost dominion. The prophet Isaiah, for example, looked down through time and pointed to a daughter of David who would give birth to that promised Redeemer 750 years later. “The Lord Himself will give you a sign,” Isaiah prophesied. “He will show you a miracle, a wonder, something out of the ordinary.” What will it be? A virgin shall conceive, and bear a son. A virgin shall give birth to a son in a supernatural way. His Name shall be called Immanuel — which means “God with us,” or “Incarnation.” Here, God sug...
