PASSED FROM DEATH TO LIFE
Scripture Reading: JOHN 5:20-26
DAILY READING
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life." (John. 5:24).
Hear this: - Jesus is the Spiritual bridge between life and death; through Him one crosses from death unto life.
Beloved, welcome into the week of Easter celebration when Christians all over the world commemorate the death and resurrection of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. It is my prayer for all the users of this devotional the reason and purpose of Christ's death and resurrection shall be fulfilled in your life and destiny in Jesus Name. Today is known as Holy Thursday, the mercy of God shall locate you and God shall grant you pardon over your sins in Jesus Name.
Note: Outside Jesus Christ, there is no life. The scripture tells us that, "In 
him was life; and the life was the light of men. That was the true light, 
which lighteth every man that cometh into the world." (John 1:4, 9). Man is a spirit being; God is Spirit. So, our relationship with God is spiritual. The world is more spiritual than physical and it is the spiritual that controls the physical. The natural man is spiritually dead, abiding in death, void of the life 
of God and under the judgment and condemnation of God because of the sin of disobedience. (Rom. 6:23). But Christ came as a Spiritual bridge and took away the condemnation at the cross, gave us salvation.
Hence, by faith in Christ Jesus, one crosses from death to life. To be outside Christ is to abide in death. When you have Christ, you have life. Jesus Himself says, "I am come that they might have it more abundantly." (John 10:10). God gave Jesus all the power and authority to redeem and judge through the Holy Spirit. From today, may this abundance of Christ be made real and manifest in 
your life in Jesus Name.
Child of God, get your mentality renewed by the Word of God. If you are born again Child of God, redeemed by the Blood of Jesus, you are no more under any satanic condemnation. Satan and his demons have no more legal 
power to afflict you with sicknesses and diseases, poverty, depression, 
frustration or failure. You are no longer under the power of sin, therefore, you are not permitted to live lifestyle of sin any longer. Col. 1: 13 says "Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and has translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son." You have passed from death to life. So, don't go back to death. Don't walk in darkness.
My Counsel; If you are yet to give your life to Christ, do it now. Repent and confess all your sins. Invite Jesus into your life as your Lord and personal Saviour. That settles it. And if you have done that before, please remain in Him.
Remember; Jesus is the Spiritual Bridge between life and death, through Him, one crosses from death to life. I pray for you, whatever wants to rob you of the abundant life Christ has given you be roasted by fire in Jesus Name.
PRAYERS:
I declare; I have passed from darkness to light, from death to life; therefore, every activity of darkness and death over my life be terminated now by the power in the Blood of Jesus in Jesus Name.
