And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague. —MARK 5:29
You Can Receive Healing Anytime
Healings may also be initiated by man. In Mark chapter 5, we have the account of the woman with the issue of blood, who
initiated her own healing. Notice verse 27: “When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his
garment.” This woman started the ball rolling by doing something. She said, “. . . If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole” (v. 28).
Jesus responded to her and said, “. . . Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague” (v.34).
You, too, can initiate your own healing by acting on God’s Word. You don’t have to sit around like those at the pool of Bethesda and wait for God to initiate something. No, you can receive healing from God at any time by acting on His Word.
Confession:
I can reach out in faith and receive healing for myself, just like the woman with the issue of blood did.

May 3 SUPPLYING OUR NEEDS But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. — PHILIPPIANS 4:19 It is God’s will that our needs be met. All of them! Philippians 4:19 includes all of your needs (all means all!), whether spiritual, physical, material, or financial. Believe that! Lest someone think that God is not concerned about our financial needs, this verse is set in a context which discusses material and financial affairs. Read it and you will see that the Philippians had taken up an offering of money and goods to send to other Christians. Paul was telling them, “Because you have given to others and have helped them, my God shall supply all your need.” So Paul was talking about material and financial matters.
