It stated that in front of one of the government office buildings in Washington, D.C., there was a little patch of grass about fourteen feet by twenty-eight feet. Instead of people walking on the sidewalk, they would cut right across that little patch of green grass. They had worn out that grass, so the caretaker put stakes and a string up. It wasn’t very high. And people just stepped over the string and kept walking on the grass. To fix this problem, the caretaker painted a crude sign and put it up right in the middle of the grass. First, it’s  affirming something that we believe . Second, it’s  testifying to something that we know . And third, it’s  witnessing for a truth that we’ve embraced . What are we to confess? Well, our confession should center around five things: (1) What God in Christ has wrought for us in His great plan of redemption; (2) what God through the Word and the Holy Spirit has wrought in us in the New Birth and the baptism in the Holy Ghost; (3) what we are to God the Father in Christ Jesus; (4) what Jesus is doing for us now at the right hand of the Father in His present-day ministry; and (5) what the Word of God will do through our lips. Now I wasn’t even thinking about Mark 11:23. I was thinking about the sixteenth chapter of Mark, where Jesus said, “Go into all the world, and preach the Gospel to every creature.” Then I got tired of sitting, so I just lay down on my back. Health Food – September 27 By Rhema Team, Sep 27, 2020 The Power Of A Right Confession For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.  — ROMANS 10:10 Notice this scripture says that we are not only to believe with our heart, but we are also to confess with our mouth. It says that confession brings about salvation. Actually, all that we receive from God is received that way—through faith. It’s always with the heart that we believe and with the mouth that we confess. With the heart we believe for healing, and with the mouth confession is made unto healing. Everything we receive from God comes this way. Now the same thought appears in another text that we’ve looked at:  “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith”  (M

When she saw what the Bible said about healing, she started shouting. I didn’t pray for her. She just jumped up and started shouting. I stepped back and let her holler and shout. I noticed that others seemed to be quite blessed by it. The pastor said to me, “Brother Hagin, that woman and her husband are some of the wealthiest people in this area. They’re worth billions! Now they’re not Pentecostal; they belong to the First Presbyterian Church.” After awhile, the woman ran down to the front, and we all praised God with her. I was under the impression that John had a special favor with Jesus, and always wondered what made him so special that he stood apart from the other disciples. Don't you want to be known as the disciple whom Jesus loves? I do! Then one day, when I was reading God's Word, the secret of John's favor dawned on me. Let me give you an illustration. Let’s say I meet someone on the street who says, “Brother Hagin, I want to talk to you.” And I respond, “Well, I can’t talk right now. I’ve got some business to attend to.” What does that mean? It means I have to put that other business first. God said to listen to His sayings. Some people are listening to what others are saying instead of to what God is saying. Donald Gee, a pioneer of the Pentecostal movement, said that every man in his family died before the age of forty. Well, when he got up around that age, fear came on him. We know that we cannot be conquered! So what exactly is the Greater One doing in you? Is He in you as extra baggage for you to carry through life? No, there’s a divine Personality in you. Read Romans 3:21-26. Mark these scriptures in your Bible. Think on them — feed on them — until they become a part of your innerconsciousness. If your Bible is a  King James Version , keep in mind that the same Greek word which is translated in verse 26 as “just” (and other forms thereof) can also be translated “righteous.” So you may substitute the word “righteous” for “just.” Many translations read this way. For example,  Young’s Literal Translation of the Bible  translates Romans 3:26 this way, “for the shewing forth of His [God’s] righteousness in the present time, for His being righteous, and declaring him righteous who is of the faith of Jesus.” What d

Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.  — PROVERBS 3:6–7 The New Testament counterpart to this scripture is Second Corinthians 10:4 and 5. 2 CORINTHIANS 10:4–5 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of  [Satan’s]  strong holds; 5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. Verse 4 says “weapons,”  plural . What are some of these weapons? Verse 5 lists one of them as casting down imaginations or reasonings. We are told to cast down imaginations or reasonings that exalt themselves against the knowledge of God. The key to biblical faith is the recognition in our own heart of the lordship of Jesus. Sanctify the Lord God in your heart. The word “sanctify” means to  separate  or  to set apart . The Amplified Bible  says, “But in your hearts set Christ apart as holy [and acknowledge Him] as Lord. Always be ready to give a logical defense to anyone who asks you to account for the hope that is in you, but do it courteously and respectfully.” We set Christ apart in our heart when we crown Jesus as the Lord of our life. He walked perfectly without a cane and didn’t need any hearing aids. He was seventy-seven years old. But this woman pastor was still in every healing line I had, trying to get healed. Five more years went by and I visited the same area. The man, now eighty-two years old, was still healed from all the serious problems he’d had. He was still well and strong. Can I help her?” Sometimes God will speak to you in an inward voice. But sometimes the revelation of the word of knowledge comes to you as a picture on the inside. That’s what happened in this case. The associate pastor of the church where we were holding the meeting said to me one day, “Brother Hagin, why doesn’t Sister _______ receive her healing?” “Well,” I said, “I don’t know. I don’t even know who Sister _______ is.” He went on to explain to me that Sister _______ was a pastor from one of the churches that was cooperating with this meeting. He wants you to come close to Him. Running to Him and coming under His feathers speak of closeness. It's not about how many times you have recited Psalm 91; it's about having an intimate relationship with Him. As a child, if it was thundering at night and I was afraid, I would run into my parents' room, jump into their bed, and hide in my mother's arms. After a while, I would fall into a deep sleep even if the storm was still raging outside. You see, you don't have to learn the seven steps of overcoming fear. You do something with your body and mind. God is not going to do anything with your body; He  can’t . God is not going to do anything with your mind; He  can’t. You  have to do it. Now He will  help  you  do  something with your body and mind, but He won’t just do it on His own. God does something with your spirit. What does He do? He recreates it. He makes it a new creature. Old things pass away and all things become new. But you are to do something with your body and your mind. Remember, Romans 12:1 says,  “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that YE present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.”  You present your body as a living sacrif

Health Food – September 9 By Rhema Team, Sep 9, 2020 Keep Your Body Under But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.  — 1 CORINTHIANS 9:27 Notice that this scripture says, “I keep under my body.” If your body were the real you, Paul would have said, “I keep  myself  under. I bring  myself  into subjection.” But he didn’t say that. He said, “I keep my body under.” Well, what did he bring his body into subjection  to ? His spirit. He didn’t let his body dominate him. Rather, his spirit dominated his body. He didn’t let his body dictate to his spirit. His spirit dictated to his body. This principle has to do with divine healing. Speak to your body and tell it to obey the Word. Say to your body, “The Word says that you’re healed now, so quit acting up.” That’s keeping your body under. He will try to dominate you. He will try to keep you from walking in your redemptive rights. But you can overcome the devil every time, no matter what the test. You can overcome him because of the blood of the Lamb and the word of your testimony! You simply have to know what the blood has bought for you: deliverance from the power (authority) of darkness (Satan), and translation (by virtue of the New Birth) into the kingdom of light. Then you have to add your testimony to that knowledge. Stand your ground. Confess what the blood of the Lamb has wrought. Thank God, there is power in the blood! When I learned this, I stopped paying attention to my body. I stopped paying attention to my feelings. Instead of being body-conscious, I became spirit-conscious. Now if you’re more body-conscious, you’re concerned about the body. And you’ll see someone and say, “How are you feeling?” And the person will respond by saying, “I’ve got a sore throat [or some other ailment].” People are more conscious of the body than they are of the spirit. Health Food – September 7 By Rhema Team, Sep 7, 2020 You Have Already Been Blessed Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.  — EPHESIANS 1:3 It is a remarkable fact that nowhere in the Epistles—the letters that are written to the Church—do Paul, James, John, Jude, or any of the other writers urge Christians to believe or have faith. Our urging Christians to believe is the result of the Word having lost its reality to them. That’s what the problem is. Since Paul never encouraged the Church to believe, what  did  he tell them? According to Ephesians 1:3, he tells us that God  has already blessed us  with all there is. There isn’t any more. He has blessed us with every spiritual blessing. If you’re blessed with every spiritual blessing, then you’re blessed! You don’t need to ask for spiritual blessings. All you need to do is thank God that you have them. They have something to do with healing, because the Bible says, “The prayer of faith shall save the sick.” The word “faith” is a noun. The word “believe” is a verb. It’s an active verb. And that’s what we’ve been talking about—believing God and acting on the Word. Just as you act on the word of a physician or the word of a lawyer or the word of a loved one, you are to act on the Word of God. If you have the word of your mother for something, you don’t ask yourself the question, Do I believe what she said? Or,  Do I have faith in her word ? You just simply say, “That’s what Mama said. Because we’ve been religious-minded rather than Bible-minded, we want to do something to get God to move on our behalf. We think,  If I could pray enough, cry enough, get enough people praying, or do enough of something myself, things would change . No, God has already done it. He has already planned the great plan of redemption and sent Jesus to consummate that plan. All that the Father has is ours. Some people say, “Well, maybe I’m not doing enough.” Religious thinking can trip you up. You can keep falling over it. By grace you were saved through faith. And the children of God own all that Christ has wrought for them. They own it all! Now can you understand why Peter said,  “. . . by whose stripes ye were healed.” ? As far as God is concerned, healing is already yours. You can be certain that if you accept First Peter 2:24 and Isaiah 53:3–5, healing is bound to be manifested in your body. It’s been a while since we’ve looked at Isaiah 53. Let’s look at that passage again. See Him in every page of the Bible as you meditate on God's Word day and night.The Bible tells us, "Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly". This means that while there is wisdom in ungodly counsel, a blessed man does not depend on it nor walk in it. On the contrary, his delight is in the Word of God, which is the person of Jesus! Beloved, whose counsel are you walking in today for your provision? Be wary of ungodly counsel that promises you quick short-term gains that could cause you to get into a debt tra

 Wednesday 2nd September, 2020 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and watch over you.                        Psalm 32:8 NIV You don't need a financial miracle when you are consistently walking in the wisdom of God. In other words, when you walk in His wisdom, you won't be surviving from one bailout to another, nor be in a constant state of financial crisis and lack. My friend, God's provision of wisdom is abundant and I want to challenge you to tap into this powerful resource from heaven. Before you make a career move, start a new business, or make a significant purchase or investment, involve Jesus. Don't exclude the Lord. When someone pressurizes you to sign an agreement because the offer is "only valid for today", take a step back. Don't make an emotional decision and rush into it. Wait upon the Lord. Be prepared to walk away from this "great opportunity" if you don't sense His peace and wisdom
