Do Not Speak Vanity
Memory verse: -Psalms12:2 They speak vanity every one with his neighbour: with flattering lips and with a double heart do they speak.
Bible Reading: - Psalms 12:1 – 8
Message
God demands faithfulness from his people, he wants them to speak the truth from their inward parts; he does not want them to be deceitful for this will amount to self delusion and vanity. A deceitful person has double hearts; he speaks one when he meant another. God hates this kind of attitude and shall cut off all flattering lips and the tongue that speaketh proud things.
Ananias and Sapphira his wife came to Peter with double hearts; spoke vanity and deceptive words and brought judgment of God upon themselves immediately. God remains the same and maintains the same standard of every one speaking the truth in his heart to his neighbour.
These are the things that ye shall do; Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbour; execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates [Zach 8:16]
Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;[Col 3:9]

A true believer and an Israel indeed before God is he that has no guile in him, who speaks the truth and hates vanity; he is plain, honest and pure; God wants such to come near him, he wants such to serve him. He said my eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land; they shall serve me says the Lord.
Mine eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me: he that walketh in a perfect way, he shall serve me.[ Psalms 101:6]
If the eyes of the Lord is upon you withersoever you go, then you have sure protection and preservation; your needs will be met and your service to the Lord shall be accepted.
Then shalt thou call, and the LORD shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity;[ Isa 58:9]
Speaking the truth and avoiding falsehood; double tongue and vanity is for your own good that leads to receiving answers to prayers from God. Everywhere around us today is full of lies to cover up misdeed and it so happens in people that are not in Christ Jesus – the truth personified. Speaking vanity with a double hearts is of the devil the father of all liars; but in Christ Jesus old nature of lying is ejected from your life and enablement to speak the whole truth replaces this when Christ dwells in you richly. Be truthful, honest, plain and faithful in Christ Jesus.
Confession of the Day
I will speak the truth always from my inward parts by the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
Prayer Points

Our father who art in heaven here I come, perform thy surgical operation in my heart and help me to always speak the truth, nothing but the truth always.

May 3 SUPPLYING OUR NEEDS But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. — PHILIPPIANS 4:19 It is God’s will that our needs be met. All of them! Philippians 4:19 includes all of your needs (all means all!), whether spiritual, physical, material, or financial. Believe that! Lest someone think that God is not concerned about our financial needs, this verse is set in a context which discusses material and financial affairs. Read it and you will see that the Philippians had taken up an offering of money and goods to send to other Christians. Paul was telling them, “Because you have given to others and have helped them, my God shall supply all your need.” So Paul was talking about material and financial matters.
