Grace and Peace in God
Memory Verse: - 2Th 1:2 Grace unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Bible Reading: - 2Th 1:1 – 12
Message
Jesus is all in all and he is more than enough for Christians, which is those that have given their lives unto him; they dwell in him and him in them. They are new creatures from which old things are cast away and they are now gracious people receiving grace upon grace from Christ.
Jn 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
Jn 1:16 And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.
The grace of God is God riches at Christ expense; it is the unmerited favour of God pours upon the righteous ones in Christ Jesus through which they do what cannot be naturally do for God. Grace of God through Christ in our lives enables us say no to the devil; makes us pray, evangelize and helps us to deny all forms of ungodliness and worldly lust.
This grace can be multiplied in us when we abide in Christ and have regular and continual communion with God. Disciple when threatened gathered together and prayed so much that the place was shaken and great grace was bestowed upon them. The more you relate with God in righteousness, the more the grace he pours upon you. Paul said we cannot continue in sin and ask for the grace of God to abound, it is not possible.
Ro 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
Furthermore, Christ is the Prince of peace and anyone in him will have peace of mind, peace with himself, his fellow men and also with God; such believers do not fret in times of lack and need, they only go to God in prayers, supplication and with thanksgiving making their request known unto God. Hannah experienced the peace of God that passeth human comprehension in her after praying to God concerning her need from God. Make sure you have this peace that can only be found in Christ Jesus our peaceful and gracious Lord.

I am a gracious and peaceful child of God through Jesus Christ our saviour.
Prayer Points
Lord, as I commune with you day after day, let your grace be multiplied in my life to live above self, Satan, sins and the world; give me grace to follow you through and through.

May 3 SUPPLYING OUR NEEDS But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. — PHILIPPIANS 4:19 It is God’s will that our needs be met. All of them! Philippians 4:19 includes all of your needs (all means all!), whether spiritual, physical, material, or financial. Believe that! Lest someone think that God is not concerned about our financial needs, this verse is set in a context which discusses material and financial affairs. Read it and you will see that the Philippians had taken up an offering of money and goods to send to other Christians. Paul was telling them, “Because you have given to others and have helped them, my God shall supply all your need.” So Paul was talking about material and financial matters.
