Do it
Memory Verse: - John 2:5 His mother saith unto the servants, whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.
Bible Reading: - John 2:1 – 25
Message
Mary, the mother of Christ, the most pure of virgins, the most holy of all wives and the first Christian mother was at the marriage feast with Jesus and his disciples in attendance. The holy ones under the control of the Holy Spirit do not just attend any functions unless they are invited; and Paul told us in the scriptures that:
If any of them that believe not bid you to a feast, and ye be disposed to go; whatsoever is set before you, eat, asking no question for conscience sake. [1Cor10:27].  So it is not a sin to attend a feast you are invited to so far it is not an idolatrous feast like that of Nebuchadnezzar or feast that will not glorify God.
But at this marriage feast, there was a problem of lack of wine and Mary asked Jesus to do something about it despite the fact that he had not started his earthly ministry; she nurture and care for Jesus right from conception to this time; she might have experienced that Jesus carry a special anointing. As the first teacher of Christ, she would have learnt how he [Jesus] proffered solutions to problems they might have come across in their family or better still because she knew Jesus was a special child conceived in an extraordinary manner; and that angel called him a son of God. In a nutshell, she knows the capability of Jesus more than anyone else at this time.
Even though Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come. Jn 2:4. She still commanded the servant to listen to him [Jesus] and do whatsoever he bid them do. Jesus manifested the true nature of God here that when you have a cordial son or daughter relationship with God; he will not deny you your request.
Jesus is the same today, he is the Lamb of God that taketh away the sin of the whole world; the way, the truth and the life and by his name all knees must bow of things in heaven above, on earth and beneath the earth, and every tongue should confess that Jesus is the Lord. If you do all Jesus had commanded in the scriptures everyday of your life, you can then asked him anything like Mary his mother did, and he will grant it you.
Jn 15:7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
Do whatever Christ has commanded you as a believer, and he will in turn grant you your request, he is ever faithful and is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.
Confession of the Day
Whatever he commands I will do for there is no other gospel way; and he will grant me all my petitions; my expectations shall never, never be cut off.
 Prayer Points
Heavenly father, give me power to will and to do according to your divine purpose. Grant me answers to all my requests in Jesus name. Deliver me from evil doers and prayer hinderers in Jesus name.[Amen]
