They Cannot By Any Means Hurt You
Memory Verse: - Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Message
Our security in Christ Jesus is impenetrable for our spiritual foes if we abide in him completely. He that is born of God keepeth himself and that wicked one toucheth him not [1John 5:18]. If it comes to physical assault in terms of persecution, we must know that it is part of the game for believers and we must through much tribulation enter into heaven; but spiritual and diabolic powers of the enemies can do us know harm.
We have the Christ mandate to go out and preach the word so that we can open the eyes of many that are blindfolded by the devil; to deliver them from the powers of Satan and bring them into the kingdom of God.
For the passage under review, Christ sent out seventy disciples in pairs to go and preach the word to people of his time; they went; preached, healed the sick, delivered the oppressed and evil powers were subject to them in the name of Jesus; and they returned with joy with victorious reports to our Lord Jesus Christ. At that moment, Jesus himself rejoiced in the spirit and said:
I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight. All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him.  [Luke10:21 – 22].
He called them babes because they have yielded their all to him; looked up to him; stayed with him and are learning of him; they become teachable with all readiness to do the will of their master rather than their own will; and Jesus said they should rejoice because their names were written in heaven.
So are the believers in Christ today; their names are written in heaven; they are no longer under the course of the prince of the air (the devil), but in the heavenly places with Christ Jesus far above principalities and powers. And as long as we remain in that realm with Jesus, we have power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
They cannot hurt you; this is forever settled in heaven, be assured of this and stand your ground when you see Satan as toothless dog come barking as if to tear you into pieces with his spiritual attacks, wiles and fiery darts. He came to Christ you know, he tempted him, he is very audacious and foolhardy; and if he has that effrontery to confront Christ – God the son; King of kings and Lord of lords; he will come to you through his agents; but the battle is won before it even started; we have overcome them because greater is he that is in us than he that is in the world.
Go and preach the word to the erring ones, you have Christ’s mandate, you have nothing to worry about, you are more than a conqueror.
 Confession of the Day: - I have Christ’s mandate to preach the word and that I will do evermore.
Prayer Points: - Lord, help to declare the word in season and out of season with aim of winning them to you.
