Prince of Peace and Good will
Memory Verse: - Luke 2:14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
Bible Reading: - Luke 2: 1 – 52
Message
The arrival of Jesus Christ the prince of peace into this world of sin was announced by angels and heavenly hosts saying “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men”
The plan of God was that peace should reign in the world if and only if the world welcomes and accepts the Prince of peace into their individual lives; but unfortunately he was rejected, maltreated and crucified in accordance to the fore knowledge of God that he should shed the blood for the remission of their sins; and was raised from the death for our justification.
He is alive today; he saves and delivers from animosity, clamor, hatred, malice, anger and all vices that negate peaceful coexistence. You cannot know true peace with yourself, with God and your neighbours if you do not have Christ indwelling you. Immediately you decide for Christ, there is a joy emanating from within you known as joy of salvation; thereafter you can no longer keep malice, but you will by all means follow peace with all men.
Paul the apostle was an injurious man – he hated Christians and was on his way to a strange country to have them arrested, beaten, imprisoned and even killed them; but he was arrested by the Lord on his way and he became a peaceful man that was as gentile as dove proclaiming the power of gospel of peace. Jesus is the prince of peace, accept him into your life and enjoy the peace of God within you and with all men.
The angels and heavenly hosts also said good will toward men. Jesus went about doing good unto all men: he heals the sick, delivers the oppress and set the captive of sins and Satan free. He had come to destroy the works of the devil and to deliver us from the curse of the law. He came across a leper who said if thou wills, thou can make me clean, and Jesus said I will be clean. He has good will towards all men; he has no evil to share but good; he has healing and health; deliverance and preservation; he is the hope of glory and the only mediator between man and God.
Are you troubled, call on the prince of peace and he shall settle you; are you being oppressed in any way, call on the Christ the only perfect deliverer and you shall be delivered; he is alive and is as powerful to set free today as he was yesterday. Witches, wizards, powers, principalities and rulers of darkness of this world combined cannot withstand his power in the life of his saints that are washed by his redeeming blood. Accept him and enjoy his peace and good will towards all men.
Confession of the Day
I have peace of mind because Jesus the prince of peace indwells me.
Prayer Points
Jesus, I give my life unto you, take it and let it be thine and let me have your peace within me all the time.
Let your good will towards me be manifested in all areas of my life to the glory of your name alone.

May 3 SUPPLYING OUR NEEDS But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. — PHILIPPIANS 4:19 It is God’s will that our needs be met. All of them! Philippians 4:19 includes all of your needs (all means all!), whether spiritual, physical, material, or financial. Believe that! Lest someone think that God is not concerned about our financial needs, this verse is set in a context which discusses material and financial affairs. Read it and you will see that the Philippians had taken up an offering of money and goods to send to other Christians. Paul was telling them, “Because you have given to others and have helped them, my God shall supply all your need.” So Paul was talking about material and financial matters.
