Satan Has no Power to Stop God
Memory Verse: - Ge 43:1 And the famine was sore in the land.
Bible Reading:- Gen. 43: 1 – 34
A close look at what transpired between Joseph and his brothers showed that God has good thought about us, not an evil one, to give us our expected end. On the other hand, Satan our archenemy will not want God’s plan for our lives come true. But God in his wisdom does not reveal all he is about to do to us for reasons best known to him.
If Satan had known that Joseph’s dream will be fulfilled or come to pass in Egypt, he would not have allowed him to be sold to Egypt as a slave. In like manner if devil and his cohorts had known that power to save the world from sin was hidden in Christ suffering, crucifixion and death on the cross, he would not have allowed him to be crucified.
Believers should know that there is no crown without cross; the way of the cross leads home; weeping may endure for a season, but joy comes in the morning. Whatever God allows to come your way like that of Joseph, just know that all things work together for good to them that trust God. Hence, don’t be discouraged, rather rejoice in the Lord and move on, let those challenges be your stepping stones to greatness; hold on to promises of God concerning you and do not do things that can hinder God from taking you to your promise land.
Satan tried to twist the destiny of Joseph at home and abroad, but Joseph abode in righteousness and in the end became the prime minister of Egypt. If he had listened to his master’s wife and gone into immorality, he would not have gone to prison where he met the officer of Pharaoh that spoke to the king concerning him. Abide in Christ, be prayerful and be watchful; he will prosper you, he will bless you even beyond your imaginations.
This you must know that God has all things at his disposal to make his promise to you good. The famine in all the land was very grievous, very sore save in the land of Egypt just because of Joseph because God was pleased with him. Having known this, you need to play your part well by abiding in faith without which you cannot please Him. There is nothing He cannot do; with him all things are possible to him that believeth.
Rise up, encourage yourself and move on, it is just a matter of time your blessings shall come. If Jabez can be made rich by God, you will become wealthy; if Hannah can become mother of children and Elisabeth become the mother of John the Baptist, you will get your own children whatever devil and his agents may do; God will not leave or forsake you until He fulfills all his promises concerning you. He will bless you and you shall be celebrated in Jesus name.
Confession of the Day
I will not let the devil wins the battle; I will not comprise whatever happens; though he may try me within and without; I will not let him win the battle.
Prayer Points
My heavenly father, give me grace at every point of the way to stand with you to the very end in Jesus name.
