JESUS MARVELED
MEMORY VERSE: - Mk 6:6 And he marveled because of their unbelief. And he went round about the villages, teaching.
BIBLE READING: - Mark 6: 1 – 56
MESSAGE
Faith is an indispensable fruit of the spirit without which we cannot please God and nothing can as well be received from Him. Contrariwise, his power moves where faith is manifested. Remember God is Omnipresent and his power is present everywhere even where you are now; you can receive your needed miracle right there if you have faith in him.
Every where Jesus went during his earthly ministry, he preaches, saves, heals and delivers those that were oppressed of the devil for God was with him, except in his own country and that because of their unbelief. This faithlessness marveled the Lord.
If in the church you attend you don’t have faith in the word your pastor preaches, there cannot be miracle and you cannot be established, but believe the prophets of God and you shall be established and make your ways prosperous.
If faith is that important, what does it mean? And how does one get it? Faith is the substance (assurance) of things hope for, of things needed, of things required, of things one seeks God for; the evidence of things not seen (facts not revealed or appealed to the senses). It believes it is done even when nothing seems to have taken place. You do not see before you believe, you believe before you see. Hannah did not see Samuel before she believed, but went rejoicing and her countenance was no longer sad and thereafter Samuel and other children came; her faith opened her womb. Your faith will opens the door of you needed miracles for you in Jesus name.
Jesus marvels anytime he sees faithlessness in you upon all he had invested upon you in teachings and preaching, despite all the testimonies you have heard within and without the church. You need to develop your faith. And you can only develop what you have. Faith in the sacrificial work of Christ earns us salvation, so if you are truly save, you have faith; then you need to develop it by reading and hearing the word of God.
Ro 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Read the scriptures diligently and more than any other book; read the books on faith written by anointed men of God and exercise your faith against little matters like headache, malaria and the result obtained thereby will make your faith grow stronger. Jesus told the disciples and to you in particular – why is that you have no faith? Believe in God; believe in Jesus and in the ministry of the faithful men of God and you shall be prosperous.
Confession of the Day
My faith looks up to Thee thou man of Calvary and I am persuaded that I will not be denied.
Prayer Point
Lord help thou my unbelief; strengthened me to keep reading and hearing your word till faith rise up in me to receive for myself and to as well help others in Jesus name.
Baptize me in the Holy Ghost and give me the gift of faith in Jesus name.

May 3 SUPPLYING OUR NEEDS But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. — PHILIPPIANS 4:19 It is God’s will that our needs be met. All of them! Philippians 4:19 includes all of your needs (all means all!), whether spiritual, physical, material, or financial. Believe that! Lest someone think that God is not concerned about our financial needs, this verse is set in a context which discusses material and financial affairs. Read it and you will see that the Philippians had taken up an offering of money and goods to send to other Christians. Paul was telling them, “Because you have given to others and have helped them, my God shall supply all your need.” So Paul was talking about material and financial matters.
