                                                           MESSAGE

Romans  2:4  Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?
On the other hand, the other son; faithful son who remained with the father has all things. By this Jesus is referring to you and I who are faithfully serving the Lord without sliding back; without compromising that we have all things that pertain to life and godliness through the knowledge of him that had called us to glory and virtue.
2 Peter  1:3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
Whatever you need may be, so far it is according to the will of God, it is yours. This was what our Lord was referring to by saying "all that I have is thine". No one knows God better than Jesus the beloved son of God; he never lies, he never flatters, he speaks affirmatively - with all assurance; he is worthy to be emulated and followed.
If you are truly of God, you should not allow Satan to cheat you. Know assuredly that all things are thine for it is written that "God will through Jesus freely give us all things. If God can surrender Jesus Christ his only beloved son as a sacrificial lamb for our sins, then there is nothing left that he cannot give those that love him. All things are yours, start claiming them and they shall be yours.
If you have not yielded your life to him completely; are you not prodigal considering the blessings of provision, protection and preservation you enjoy from day to day? You need to reciprocate this good gesture of the Lord for the scripture says the goodness of the Lord leads to repentance.
The elder brother of the prodigal son remained faithful to his father and as a result has all things. Even a fatty cow was slaughtered to celebrate the home coming of the prodigal son which indicates the caring nature of our heavenly father. He is loving and caring to the extent of being joyful if a sinner or a prodigal backslider come back home.

Confession of the Day
All things pertaining to life and godliness are mine, Jesus told me so and I claim them all.
