END BETTER THAN BEGINNING
MEMORY VERSE: - Ecc 7:8 Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof: and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.
BIBLE READING: - 1Kings 13: 1:1 - 34
MESSAGE
It is quite sometimes now that you started your Christian race, you remain in the faith by His special grace and not by your own strength. I encourage you this morning to keep marching forward as a good soldier of Jesus Christ bearing in mind that he that endures to the end shall be saved. A little frivolity and undue repose can cause you dearly, therefore be on your guard, be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary and archenemy, the devil as a roaring lion is moving about seeking whom he may devour. He will not get you, he will not devour you in Jesus name. His schemes, toils and labour to see you slide back and fall will not prosper in the mighty name of Jesus. I want you to learn from the young prophet who rested when he was not suppose to rest, old prophet caught up with him and deceived him; he perished suddenly and shamefully and his ministry was cut off. Yours will not be like that in Jesus name. Be determined to make it to the end in Christ whatever happens, he will support you, he will keep you to the end. You end well if you eventually make it to heaven, where the reward of your faithful service awaits you. Onward, forward the spirit says you go;
When we all get to heaven,
What a day of rejoicing that will be
When we all see Jesus,
We'll sing and shout the victory.
I will be there, you will be there and together we will be with Lord forever.

Confession of the Day
I will make it to heaven by the grace of God, I will not stop my journey half way.

May 3 SUPPLYING OUR NEEDS But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. — PHILIPPIANS 4:19 It is God’s will that our needs be met. All of them! Philippians 4:19 includes all of your needs (all means all!), whether spiritual, physical, material, or financial. Believe that! Lest someone think that God is not concerned about our financial needs, this verse is set in a context which discusses material and financial affairs. Read it and you will see that the Philippians had taken up an offering of money and goods to send to other Christians. Paul was telling them, “Because you have given to others and have helped them, my God shall supply all your need.” So Paul was talking about material and financial matters. With what boldness, then, we can pray for finances to meet our obligations! Having all of our needs met is according to God’s will!
