ARE YOU A CHILD OF GOD?
MEMORY VERSE: - Jn 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
BIBLE READING: - Jn 3: 1 - 36

MESSAGE
Virtually everybody claims to be a child of God. But not all are children of God despite the fact that we are created by Him. That your parents are founder of a church does not make you a Christian, confirmation, water baptism, a choir member, lay reader and so on do not make you a child of God. 
 To become a true child of God, you need to take the following steps:
  • Acknowledge your sinfulness (1Jn 1:10)
  • Abandon(confess and forsake) your sins earnestly(Prov 28:13)
  • Accept Jesus as your personal Lord( author, controller, master) and saviour
  • Abide in His word thereafter continually
  • Avail yourself of the resources in the kingdom that can keep you
  • Remain steadfast in believers fellowship
  • Come out from every ungodly associations
Jesus was raised from the death by God for our justification, he is alive, he saves and his blood still speaks better things than that of Abel. Call upon him now and you will be saved.

Confession of the Day
Jesus, you are my Lord and my saviour, the author and finisher of my faith, I will follow you to the end.

SUPPLYING OUR NEEDS

May 3 SUPPLYING OUR NEEDS But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. — PHILIPPIANS 4:19 It is God’s will that our needs be met. All of them! Philippians 4:19 includes all of your needs (all means all!), whether spiritual, physical, material, or financial. Believe that! Lest someone think that God is not concerned about our financial needs, this verse is set in a context which discusses material and financial affairs. Read it and you will see that the Philippians had taken up an offering of money and goods to send to other Christians. Paul was telling them, “Because you have given to others and have helped them, my God shall supply all your need.” So Paul was talking about material and financial matters. With what boldness, then, we can pray for finances to meet our obligations! Having all of our needs met is according to God’s will!
