STOP PRAYING WRONGLY

Luke 10 : 19
Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

John 14 : 13       And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

MESSAGE
From the bible verses above, believers are commanded to pray to God in Jesus name, not in the name of any angel or human being. If you are praying to God through any other name, you are praying amiss, you are praying wrongly.
Some believers have turn God to an errand boy; praying God do this or that for me. This is correct to some extend if we are asking God for provision and protection, otherwise we are praying amiss. If you are sick or suffering from any satanic manipulations or oppression, you are to command the infirmity to go. Jesus during his earthly ministry pray authoritatively, commanding evil spirit to go. Disciples did likewise in the name of Jesus Christ.
He has given us the same power to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy(the devil). When you see any operation of the devil anywhere and if you are a genuine christian obeying the Lord, that is if Jesus Christ is your Lord and saviour; you are to command the devil and his cohorts to leave. You are not to tell God to do it for you, you are to command them to leave in Jesus name.
They know that you have the authority, they will obey. For example, a policeman without uniform is like any ordinary man. But if he has his uniform on, a mere raising of his hand connotes authority, because we know they represent higher authority. So are believers in Christ, we have the backing of heaven and God, we have the authority. You are to command the devil, you don't allow him to lord anything over you; because he is not your master. Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour saves, heals and delivers, he gives life abundantly; he wants us to prosper and be in health even as our soul prospers.Anything other than these are from Satan, don't allow him to put any of his problem on you, don't yield to his sinful suggestions, yielding means you are opening the door for him to enter. When you see his operations anywhere around you, command him and he just have to obey.
Thought for the day: Pray to God in Jesus name only, not in any other name ( saints or angels).

May 3 SUPPLYING OUR NEEDS But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. — PHILIPPIANS 4:19 It is God’s will that our needs be met. All of them! Philippians 4:19 includes all of your needs (all means all!), whether spiritual, physical, material, or financial. Believe that! Lest someone think that God is not concerned about our financial needs, this verse is set in a context which discusses material and financial affairs. Read it and you will see that the Philippians had taken up an offering of money and goods to send to other Christians. Paul was telling them, “Because you have given to others and have helped them, my God shall supply all your need.” So Paul was talking about material and financial matters.
