Some people say, “If God wants me well, why doesn’t He heal me?” Well, according to the Bible, God wants everyone saved. Then why aren’t all saved? Because they have something to do with it. God has provided salvation for all, but they have a part to play in receiving it. In the same way, when it comes to healing, we often want to leave it all up to God. Well, although God may initiate healings on His own some of the time, that’s not the main way that God heals. This is where a lot of people miss it: They know God initiates some things on His own, because they’ve seen Him do it, so they’re waiting for Him to initiate something for them. Unfortunately, they might die while they’re waiting. But you can initiate healing yourself. You don’t have to wait for God to initiate it; you can claim what belongs to you based on His Word...

And they never get free from them. It’s not enough to know that God understands and cares. If you want to be free from your cares, you must do what God said to do about them: You must cast all of your cares, all of your concerns, all of your anxieties, and all of your worries upon the Lord, because He cares for you. Health Food – February 1 By Rhema Team, Feb 1, 2020 God’s Sovereignty For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had . — JOHN 5:4 God in His own right of divine sovereignty saw fit to send an angel down to trouble the waters. I don’t know how often He did it, but he apparently didn’t send the angel on any kind of a set schedule. If He had, there wouldn’t have been any need for the sick people to be out there every day. They could have just gone on a certain day when they knew the angel would show up. But they were there all the time because the angel might come at any time. When an angel came down from Heaven and troubled the waters of this pool, the first person in got healed. No one else got healed until next time around. Why did God do it that way? Since I learned about faith and that the Bible said, “. . .  we which have believed do enter into rest  . . .” I have been in a state of rest. Grasp what this scripture says! It doesn’t say that we have entered into a state of fearing, fretting, griping, worrying, or fighting. No! It says we have entered into  rest . I haven’t seen a “battle” in more than sixty-five years. When someone asks me, “How goes the battle?” I always answer, “The victory is wonderful!” There isn’t any battle. She had been bedfast two years due to an automobile accident that broke her neck and her back. After being in the hospital for two years and at home for almost a year, she regained the use of her arms. But from her shoulders down, she was unable to move.
