Jehovah – Elshaddai

Monday 27 th May, 2019 Word of Life Daily Devotional Jehovah – Elshaddai Memory verse: - And the LORD said unto Moses, Is the LORD'S hand waxed short? thou shalt see now whether my word shall come to pass unto thee or not. [Numbers 11:23] Bible Reading: - Numbers 11:16 – 35 Message The God that created heaven and earth and separated the sky from the earth without any physical support is a God that is more than enough to do or supply all things; he is an incompressible God – he cannot be limited in any way; he can do all things; he is God of possibilities with whom all things are possible; he is Jehovah Elshaddai. Men alone in the camp of Israel at this time were six hundred thousand without women and children and to feed that large number of people in the wilderness is far beyond the power of man but was like a piece of cake for our God who is still in the business of providing for everyone all over the world today. He alone gives power to get wealth and without hi...

Jesus Is Matchless

Jesus Is Matchless Billy Graham's Daily Devotion May 26, 2019 You have your life through Christ Jesus. He showed us God's plan of salvation; he was the one who made us acceptable to God . . .  –1 Corinthians 1:30 (TLB) More and more I am becoming aware of the truth that people change people as much as ideas change people. The power of personality is strong. One could find many illustrations to prove that often personality is greater than the idea. Such is the case with Christianity. The secret of the power of Christianity is not in its ethics. It is not in Christian ideas or philosophy, although Christianity has a philosophical set of ideas. The secret of Christianity is found in a Person, and that Person is the Lord Jesus Christ. Men have discovered other philosophical and ethical systems, but they have not found another Jesus Christ. No one in history can match Him.  What makes Jesus so special? Billy Graham explains .  Read and share this resource...

By His Stripes

Faith Food – May 26 By Rhema Team, May 26, 2019 By His Stripes Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.  — 1 PETER 2:24 Some years ago, I was awakened at 1:30 a.m. with severe symptoms in my heart and chest. I knew something about such symptoms because I had been bedfast and given up to die with a heart condition as a teenager. The devil said to my mind, “You’re going to die. This is one time you’re  not  going to get your healing.” I pulled the covers over my head and began to laugh. I didn’t feel like laughing, but I just laughed anyway for about ten minutes. Finally, the devil asked me what I was laughing about. “I’m laughing at you!” I said. “You said I wasn’t going to get my healing. Ha, ha, Mr. Devil. I don’t expect to get my healing! Jesus already  got  it fo...

You Receive ‘According To Your Faith’

Health Food – May 26 By Rhema Team, May 26, 2019 You Receive ‘According To Your Faith’ Then touched he  [Jesus]  their eyes, saying, ACCORDING TO YOUR FAITH be it unto you.  — MATTHEW 9:29 At a meeting in California, a seventy-two-year-old woman who wore a hearing aid approached me. She couldn’t hear without her hearing aid. In fact, she said, “I can’t even get half the message with my hearing aid on and sitting right under the speaker. I need to hear the Word.” I laid hands on her ears. Instantly, she could hear a watch tick out of either ear! That was quite obvious. She was there two more weeks in every service. She didn’t need her hearing aid. She was talking to everyone in normal tones. Now she had fallen and broken her hip some time before, so she used a walking stick to walk. As she walked away, I said, “Wait a minute!” She turned and looked. I said, “Don’t you want something els...

THE WORKS OF THE FLESH.

OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL DATE: SUNDAY 26TH MAY 2019 THEME: THE WORKS OF THE FLESH. MEMORISE: Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. Romans 6:12 READ: Galatians 5:19-21 19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. MESSAGE The flesh is Adamic nature that everyone is born with. This nature is subject to sin and is under its bondage. However, when a person becomes born again, he or she dies to this nature as it is nailed to the cross of Jesus and so sin no longer has dominion over such a person (Romans 6:6, Galatians 5:24). To live in this dominion, we must...

HE WHO OPENS

DAILY MANNA SUNDAY 26TH MAY, 2019 HE WHO OPENS TEXT: NUMBERS 20:14-21? KEY VERSE: “And Edom said unto him, Thou shalt not pass by me, lest I come out against thee with the sword" (NUMBERS 20:18). International trips are usually backed up with visa requirements. There is no guarantee for automatic entry unless visa is obtained so as to screen those who come in and go out. Unfortunately, there are genuine and sincere applicants whose applications are rejected on the basis of lack of clarity of intention, insufficient information or prejudice. Denial of visa into another country is an instructive indicator of what will happen to those who aspire to go to heaven, the abode of God. Today’s passage is an appeal by Moses through his messengers, for Israel to pass through the borders of the Edomites, the descendants of Esau. The king of Edom refused and threatened Israel not to attempt it, else it would be to their peril. The refusal of the Edomites to Israel’s request...

It Is Too Heavy for Me

Sunday 26 th May, 2019 Word of Life Daily Devotional It Is Too Heavy for Me Memory verse: - Numbers 11:14 I am not able to bear all this people alone, because it is too heavy for me. Bible Reading: - Numbers 11:1 – 15 Message There are lots of problems in this world of sin controlled by Satan – the god of this world and that is why the Bible says “ a man that was born by a woman is of few days and full of trouble” [Job14:1] . The weight of problems in the church of God is carried by the Pastor; at home by the father or mother; and by the boss as the chief accounting officer of a place of work, and so on; in fact there are individual burdens that weighs down such an individual if he decides to carry it by himself or herself. But Jesus said “ Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. ” [Matt 11:28] . Jesus is referring to the burden of sin here because condemnation is a heavy burden on its own and it is only Jesus that can take it ...
