LESSONS FROM MUD.

OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL DATE: THURSDAY 27TH SEPTEMBER 2018 THEME: LESSONS FROM MUD. MEMORISE: And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. Genesis 2:7 READ: Jeremiah 18:1-6 1 The word which came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying, 2 Arise, and go down to the potter's house, and there I will cause thee to hear my words. 3 Then I went down to the potter's house, and, behold, he wrought a work on the wheels. 4 And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it. 5 Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying, 6 O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith the LORD. Behold, as the clay is in the potter's hand, so are ye in mine hand, O house of Israel. MESSAGE It is amazing that something as precious as humanity could come out from the dust of the earth (Gen...

UNCLEAN  PRIESTS

DAILY   MANNA THURSDAY  27TH SEPTEMBER, 2018   UNCLEAN  PRIESTS TEXT: NUMBERS 19:1-10 KEY VERSE: "Then the priest shall wash his clothes, and he shall bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he shall come into the camp, and the priest shall be unclean until the even" (NUMBERS 19:7).    Corrie Ten Boom was once quoted to have said, "Look around and be distressed, look inside and be depressed, look at Jesus and be at rest." Her quotation adequately depicts the situation of man and sin.     Israel had sinned in the wilderness and many of the people had died as a result. The mass death meant people had to make physical contact with the corpses, which made them unclean. God, in this passage, outlined the processes whereby uncleanness would be easily removed. It is interesting to note that the priests who carried out the procedure, became unclean, but only for one day, because they had performed an act of purification without the camp. H...

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit Billy Graham's Daily Devotion Sep 27, 2018 Your body is the home of the Holy Spirit . . .  –1 Corinthians 6:19 (TLB) Who is the Holy Spirit? He is God, just as God the Father and God the Son are also God. We speak of them as the Trinity. You ask me to explain the Trinity. Our minds can but dimly grasp these great spiritual facts, because we are finite and God is infinite. It may help to remember that God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit have all existed from eternity. The work of creation was given to the Son and we are told that, "All things were made by Him and without Him was not anything made that was made." But when you read the second verse of the first chapter of Genesis, you will find that the Holy Spirit was also there, moving upon the face of His creation. In time, the Son of God came into the world as a man, to redeem the world which He had created. After His death on the cross, and His resurrection, He went back ...

Get Thrilled About the Truth

Health Food Devotional Get Thrilled About the Truth September 26, 2018 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. (Isa. 41:10) On the last Sunday night of the meeting, eleven days after I last saw this Presbyterian woman, I was sitting on the platform with the pastor. I saw her walk in with a young man by her side. The pastor whispered to me, "That's her son."  As the pastor was making an announcement, this woman jumped up and said, "I can't wait! I've got to testify!" She ran down the aisle and said to me, "This is my son, Brother Hagin. Remember, I was telling you about him just eleven days ago?  We've taken him in our private jet to one healing meeting after another. But when you read and quoted Isaiah 41:10 several days ago, I began to realize my authority. I began to realize that God is with me ...

Receiving the Holy Spirit

Faith Food Devotional Receiving the Holy Spirit September 26, 2018 "And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit" (Acts 2:4). "…They sent unto them Peter and John: Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Spirit (Acts 8:14-15). "…Have ye received the Holy Spirit since ye believed?" (Acts 19:2). In New Testament times, it was the exception for believers not to have received the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, with the supernatural sign and initial evidence of speaking in tongues. The Epistles were written to believers who knew Jesus as Savior and who had been filled with the Holy Spirit. Thank God, the Holy Spirit is in us too. But too often people who have been born again and then filled with the Spirit just think of themselves as having received a blessing or some kind of experience—and they miss entirely what the Word of God teaches! A Divine Personality actually comes to live in us! God Himself in the Person of t...

Favoured by the Great Rewarder

Thursday 27 th September, 2018 Words of Life Daily Devotional Favoured by the Great Rewarder Memory Verse: - Ex 11:3 And the Lord gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians. Moreover the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh’s servants, and in the sight of the people. Bible Reading: - Ex 11: 1 – 10 Message God, the father of our Lord Jesus Christ is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him; he turns the heart of the kings whithersoever he will; he has all the power to reward those whose services had been enjoyed by wicked men without commensurate reward or payment given to them. In our text today, he was about to unleash the last or tenth plague on Egyptians that will break and crush the pride of Pharaoh and his servants; and he does not want his people to go out empty handed, therefore he commanded them through Moses to spoil Egyptians by borrowing of his neighbours jewels of silver and jewels of gold. Israelites had labo...

He Will Live and Not Die'

Health Food Devotional 'He Will Live and Not Die' September 25, 2018 I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.  (Ps. 118:17) Several years ago, a woman came to one of my crusades. When she saw what the Bible said about healing, she started shouting. I didn't pray for her. She just jumped up and started shouting. I stepped back and let her holler and shout. I noticed that others seemed to be quite blessed by it.  The pastor said to me, "Brother Hagin, that woman and her husband are some of the wealthiest people in this area. They're worth billions! Now they're not Pentecostal; they belong to the First Presbyterian Church."  After awhile, the woman ran down to the front, and we all praised God with her. When I dismissed the service, she came and thanked me. I said, "There's no use in thanking me. Thank the Lord."  "Yes," she said, "but you brought the truth to me. My son is in the UCLA hospital...
