YOU SHALL WEAR NEW GARMENT
SCRIPTURE READING: ZECHARIAH 3:1-7
DAILY READING
"Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments and stood before the angel." (Zech. 3:13).
Hear this: The kind of garment you wear determines how you will be 
addressed.Once again, Happy New Month. In this new Month, the Almighty God will put a new and better garment upon you. He will decorate you with His garment of 
glory and honour. People will see you, appreciate and honour you in Jesus Name. As from today, your life shall wear a new look.
Beloved, your garment is your identity. The kind of garment you wear determines how you will be addressed. What you wear determines what you get. We can see and confirm this from the life of the High Priest in our passage, 
Joshua the High Priest was clothed with a filthy garment and the result was that, the devil stood at the right hand and resisted him. Despite the fact that Joshua was standing before the angel of God, yet satan could stand by him. Why? Because of the filthy garment on him. Your garment is your identity. Anywhere sin, iniquity and filthiness is found, be sure that Satan will be present. Sin gives Satan a legal ground to operate and resist the children of God and hinder them from their rights and inheritance. But thank God for His mercies and love. Today, you shall obtain the mercy and favour of the LORD in Jesus Name. Immediately, God commanded that the filthy garment be removed from him and was clothed with a new garment. God shall wear you a new and glorious garment from now. It took God to rebuke Satan by Himself on behalf of Joshua because with that filthy garment, Joshua could not rebuke 
the devil. God shall speak on your behalf in the journey of life. Child of God; run away from every form of filthiness because it makes a 
person a slave to the devil and subject to satanic reproach and affliction. That shall not be your portion. But, what kind of garment are you wearing right now! Is it a filthy garment? Garment of fornication, adultery, lying, 
unforgiveness, stealing, cheating or wickedness in any aspect? Think about it, any garment that will make satan to stand at your right hand which is the place of power should be removed without delay.
My counsel: Repent of any known sinful habit and turn to God for forgiveness and cleansing. Hate evil with passion. Live a lifestyle of prayer and the word, God will help you. 
Remember: The kind of garment you wear determines how you will be 
addressed. 
Receive the grace to wear a new garment. God Himself will decorate you with His garment of righteousness and glory in Jesus name.
Prayer: 
1. Have mercy on me O LORD and forgive me all my iniquities.
2. Father, please take away my filthy garment and cloth me with a new 
garment of righteousness and glory.
3. Satan standing at my right hand catch fire and be roasted to ashes in 
Jesus Name.
