RESCUED BY HIS MERCY
SCRIPTURE READING: MICAH 4:6-13
DAILY READING
Arise and thresh, O daughter of zion; for I will make thine horn Airon, and I will make thy hoofs brass: and thou shalt beat in pieces many people: and I will consecrate their gain unto the LORD, and their substance unto the Lord of the wholeearth." (Micah 4:13).
Hear this:The steadfast love of God never stops, it is new every morning.
Beloved; welcome to another great and wonderful day. Today, you shall not see shame, the mercy of God shall be available for you in Jesus Name.
I want you to note and take this truth to heart: "God's mercy is always 
available to rescue those who care to call upon Him", The Bible says, "For 
whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Rom. 
10:13). As you call upon the name of the Lord in this period, He shall rescue you out of every problem and troubles of life in Jesus Name. Also, Romans 10:11 says, "For the scripture saith, whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed".
Look; it is an established truth that God's acts of mercy are boundless. He is always ready to advance His goodness to the penitent, anywhere, anyplace and anytime. God's mercy is readily available to rescue as many that look up unto Him especially in repentance of their sins. From experience, one of the quickest answers to prayers is prayer for mercy. As you journey through life, 
God shall rescue you from shame; every program of shame and  disgrace concerning you is cancelled.
In our passage, the enemies of zion had established and were rejoicing at the calamities which befell the city. Zion was to be a light to other nations, but its inhabitants went into sin which earned them God's wrath and punishment. 
The Assyrians came and defeated them in war as a result of their sin. The people went into pain and cried as if they had no helper. Then the mercy of God showed up for them; a message of hope was brought as we can see in our anchor scripture above. Their enemies did not understand that their gathering against zion was for God to destroy them, just as sheaves are gathered to be threshed. By the sure mercies of God, all those who gather against you and your household shall be destroyed before you. God's people 
would be strengthened to beat their enemies into pieces.
Beloved, this message of hope is still available for us today. Though the enemy may gather against us, their plans will be their own destruction. The design of the wicked against any child of God, his family and the church of God will not stand. When God has a plan and work for His people, He furnishes them with strength and power to carry out the work. Rejoice because the enemies 
of your life have been defeated. God's mercy is available to rescue.
My counsel: All you need to do is to live right and establish a good 
relationship with God. Obey God's command which says: "Arise and thresh" 
Instead of fearing the enemies and fleeing from them; boldly rise up against them now and take the dominion.
Remember: The steadfast Love of God never stops: It is new every morning.Receive a fresh baptism of the spirit of power and boldness to thresh down your enemies in Jesus Name.
Prayer:
1. Power to thresh down my enemies, father release upon me by your mercy.
2. Every plan and designs of the wicked against me and my household be cancelled by fire.
3. Father, by your mercy rescue me from the hands of those stronger 
than I am.
4. O Lord, empower me to live right in Jesus name.

May 3 SUPPLYING OUR NEEDS But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. — PHILIPPIANS 4:19 It is God’s will that our needs be met. All of them! Philippians 4:19 includes all of your needs (all means all!), whether spiritual, physical, material, or financial. Believe that! Lest someone think that God is not concerned about our financial needs, this verse is set in a context which discusses material and financial affairs. Read it and you will see that the Philippians had taken up an offering of money and goods to send to other Christians. Paul was telling them, “Because you have given to others and have helped them, my God shall supply all your need.” So Paul was talking about material and financial matters.
