Message
Faith is highly expedient in receiving from God, without
it all prayer activities will be futile and waste of time; without faith we
cannot please God. In our text today, the leper and the centurion came to Jesus
because they have heard of him, believed in what they heard and come with faith
to receive their own miracle as well.
Just like them, we go to church today because we
believe in God, we go believers’ gatherings because we believe that as they gather
God is there in their midst. Yes, it is true God is there in their midst and his
power is more present to heal, save and deliver them that are oppressed of the
devil, but faith is needed to activate the power of God on your behalf.
So, henceforth as you go for retreat, convention or Christian
convocations and gatherings, patiently listen to the word of God and after prayer
or ministration, you should believe it is done, it is settled; that is, your
prayer is answered and that you have received your miracle.
After this, it should be joy, praises and jubilation, no more worry, no more anxiety and by this your action you call those things that be not as though they were; this action of faith will activate the power of God on you behalf and you shall possess your possession.
After this, it should be joy, praises and jubilation, no more worry, no more anxiety and by this your action you call those things that be not as though they were; this action of faith will activate the power of God on you behalf and you shall possess your possession.
Note the word of Christ, “as thou hast believed, so be
it done unto thee”. You believed first and then the miracle. If you manifest
unbelieve after the prayer, you cancel answers to that prayer by your action. Look
at the centurion, he believed the Lord’s word alone without touching his
servant and the miracle was done. When you believe and your action of faith
tallies with your faith, God’s abundant and available power will be activated
and your miracle will come forth.
Even when you are alone and you tackle any problem of
your own in prayers, your faith, confession, and action after the prayers will
work for you for God cannot deny anyone who manifested faith. It is a settled
thing in heaven and earth that faith activates the power of God; where such
faith are manifested – there is no more moodiness, gloominess, staggering,
worry and anxiety, but peace of mind and joy in the holy ghost because you are
fully persuaded that it is done; finished and settled. It will be unto you
according to your faith; as you have believed, so shall it be done unto you.
Confession of the day
I believe, Oh yes, I believe that it is well with me;
that I am whole, well and delivered. I shall enjoy the goodness of God everyday
of my life. It is well, it is done.
Prayer Point
Father, faith cometh by hearing your words, help me to
read, study and meditate on your words every day. I want the word to dwell in
me richly, open thou my understanding and let your words be written on the
table of my heart.
