And It Came to Pass
Memory verse: - Acts 21:1      And it came to pass, that after we were gotten from them, and had launched, we came with a straight course unto Coos, and the day following unto Rhodes, and from thence unto Patara:
Bible Reading: - Acts 21: 1 – 40
Message
The ministry of Paul to the Jews and gentiles was foretold by the Lord when he called him in Acts 9:15 – 16         But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel: For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name's sake.
He has all the while being ministering to the gentiles and now in chapter 20 decided to go to Jerusalem to minister to the Jews – Children of Israel and there were prophecies concerning the danger that awaited him there. Since the first part of the Lord’s prophecy about Paul’s ministry to gentiles has been fulfilled; the second one about his ministry to the Jews was about to be fulfilled as well. He was determined to go to Jerusalem to minister to the saints even at the cost of his life since it is the will of God that he must minister to Jews also. He went and the prophecy came to pass; some Jews lied in wait to kill him and they were not successful because he must minister to children of Israel as the Lord commanded.
Though, host of enemies should compass you round about, they cannot prevail against you if you are yet to fulfill the ministry obtained from the Lord. He got to Jerusalem and was bound just as he was being told by the prophets through the spirit of God.
As a child of God – the spiritual Israel, God’s promises cover every area of your life and as long as you abide in the Lord with all willingness to do His will, these promises will come to pass in your life. He will feed you, strengthens you and empowers you to do all his revealed will here on earth before leaving for heaven.
Once you willingly decided to seek first the kingdom of God and all his righteousness all other things will be added to you. It shall come to pass that your barrenness will be taken away; your reproach will be wiped off; your coast will be enlarged and every fetter in your life shall be broken. You will live long and not die young; you will be head and not tail; thousand shall fall at thy side and ten thousand at thy right hand; it shall not come near thee.
In addition, whatever vision[dream] you have like that of Joseph, it shall come to pass and you will be preserved like Daniel in Babylon; revived like Hezekiah from your sick bed and empowered like the early church to boldly do the work of God committed into your hand; you will ever be a success and not failure for the Lord has good thought concerning you; he will give you the expected end; he will make all things to work together for good on your behalf.
All his promises that are yea and amen in the Lord shall come to pass in your life and all that are around you for the Lord is not a man that he should lie neither the son of man that he should repent; if he had said it, he will make it good if you tarry and do not wearily depart from him.
Confession of the Day: - I am fully persuaded that his promises concerning me shall come to pass come what may.
Prayer Points: - Oh Lord my God, my hope is in you; let all your plans and desires for me come to pass.
