A stable wise Believer
Memory verse: - James1:8     A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
Bible Reading: - James 1:1 – 8
Message
Wisdom which is the most principal thing to every man especially a soul winner is the right application of knowledge. The scripture says he that winneth soul is wise; not the wisdom of the world that is full of deception and how to cheat others, but of God in truth and pure conscience.
To obtain this godly wisdom, we must ask God in faith without wavering; without any iota of doubt; with full assurance in God; with full confidence in our immutable God who gave Solomon, Joseph, Daniel and disciples to mention but a few.
To doubt while asking makes you a double minded person and if you are like that you cannot be stable for the scripture that was written by God’s inspiration confirms that and that by so doing you cannot please God.
Daniel, Joseph and even the disciples of the Lord were so stable that they looked unto God of Jacob alone, their conditions did not make them sought for God of the strange land they found themselves and because they truly knew their God they did exploits as their faith was honoured by God himself.
Wisdom is a principal thing to a heaven bound believer, therefore get wisdom and in all thy getting get understanding. Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.[Prov 4:7]
The Disciples of Christ were wise because they asked questions about things they do not understand when it remains them and Christ alone. If you do not understand any part of the scripture you read, then seek for its true meaning and understand it so that when the need arises you can rightly apply it and you will be approved of God.
For proper understanding, read books, Bible commentaries, Christian literatures and magazines coupled with prayers and meditations, and abreast yourself with knowledge that can help you win souls for the Lord. Be not babies in understanding godly matters written in the perfect law of liberty, but in malicious matters be like a babe.
The most needful thing is the word and its understanding, let nothing takes this away from you and be the doer of the word for by so doing your wisdom will come forth for people to see and glorify God on your behalf because they know that only God can give such a perfect gift to a stable man.
Confession of the Day: - I will seek after the word of God, understands it and apply it in all my endeavours by the grace of God.

Prayer Point: - Father, make me wise through the knowledge of your word in Jesus name [Amen]

May 3 SUPPLYING OUR NEEDS But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. — PHILIPPIANS 4:19 It is God’s will that our needs be met. All of them! Philippians 4:19 includes all of your needs (all means all!), whether spiritual, physical, material, or financial. Believe that! Lest someone think that God is not concerned about our financial needs, this verse is set in a context which discusses material and financial affairs. Read it and you will see that the Philippians had taken up an offering of money and goods to send to other Christians. Paul was telling them, “Because you have given to others and have helped them, my God shall supply all your need.” So Paul was talking about material and financial matters.
