It Cannot Be Overthrown
Memory verse: - Acts 5:39 But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God.
Bible Reading: - Acts 5: 1 – 42
Message
The counsel of Gamaliel – the doctor of law and the leader or president of the Sanhedrin at this time was inspired by God himself through Holy Spirit to let the apostles alone; if not the gospel would have suffered a greater set back if all of them were killed, but God really proved that the heart of the king is in his hand and as rivers of water, he turneth withersoever he will.
Pr 21:1 The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.
It is also written in the scriptures that “there are many devices in a man’s heart; nevertheless the counsel of the Lord, that shall stand. [Pr 19:21]  Devil and his cohorts and the kingdom of hell have no power to stop the work of God; the work of God and the move of God here on earth cannot be stopped by anyone for God is more than them all. If God had given you an assignment or ministry, fear not what man can do unto you and follow God who is able to make all things good for you and you shall fulfill your ministry in Jesus name.
For every true born again believers, we are given the ministry of reconciliation; of soul winning which was, is and will be fought by the kingdom of darkness either by hindering you like Paul the apostle saith in 1Thes 2:18 that “wherefore we would have come unto you, even I Paul, once and again; but Satan hindered us” or by direct persecution if you refused to be hindered.
But it takes a spirit filled Christian today to win souls for God because the gospel had been watered down by many prosperity preaching assemblies that place prosperity far above the soul of men. The work must be done by you and me; let us seek the face of God for the baptism of the Holy Spirit – the unction and dynamite power of God to open the eyes of the people and direct them to their maker for remolding. It shall be done in Jesus name.
At one time in the church I pastured, a boy gave his life to Christ and his father was not pleased with this; he will come to church during Bible studies time to beat the boy out of the church [because the church lack workers and no ushers], the boy will run away and then come back. This continues for sometimes until the man himself had stroke since he refused to stop fighting the will of God. It was the boy that prayed for him before he became normal again; thereafter, he left the boy alone and he is a pastor in one of our churches today. That is what God can do, his course is unstoppable, and nobody can hinder his work. Joseph’s brethren wanted to hinder the plan of God for his life and they ended up pushing him into his blessings and glory. Your persecutors and enemies will end up biting their fingers when they see you at the top in Jesus name for God’s will for your life cannot be overthrown by anyone.
Confession of the Day
I will work for God and no man can let it for His will for man life cannot be overthrown by the devil.
Prayer Points

God, help me to hold onto your banner and preach you everywhere I go and when I am tempted to stop, kindly help me to say no; fuel me to re – fire in Jesus name. [Amen]

May 3 SUPPLYING OUR NEEDS But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. — PHILIPPIANS 4:19 It is God’s will that our needs be met. All of them! Philippians 4:19 includes all of your needs (all means all!), whether spiritual, physical, material, or financial. Believe that! Lest someone think that God is not concerned about our financial needs, this verse is set in a context which discusses material and financial affairs. Read it and you will see that the Philippians had taken up an offering of money and goods to send to other Christians. Paul was telling them, “Because you have given to others and have helped them, my God shall supply all your need.” So Paul was talking about material and financial matters.
