Avoid the Doings of the Land
Memory verse: - Lev 18:3 After the doings of the land of Egypt, wherein ye dwelt, shall ye not do: and after the doings of the land of Canaan, whither I bring you, shall ye not do: neither shall ye walk in their ordinances.
Bible Reading: - Lev 18: 1 – 30
Message
God never changes like chameleon; he is firm, faithful and immutable; he hates abominable acts and can make the land to vomit out her inhabitants because of wickedness, idolatry and immoral activities. He warned Israelites through Moses his servant that they should not do as the Egyptians and Canaanites did such as idolatry, illicit sex, wickedness and immorality. These are the customs and practices of the ungodly that are variance to God’s standard of holiness.
As he commanded them to walk in his statues and ordinances in the Old Testament without any reservation, so he wants us [Christians] to come out of worldliness and live holy life in this present world.
2Co 6:17 – 18  Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, and will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
Come out of lying, cheating, falsifying records, extortion, worldly amusement, lesbianism, fornication, adultery and gay marriage for God whom we serve is holy having pure eyes that cannot behold iniquities.
God called Abraham out from his idolatrous family, he obeyed, went out and became prosperous and it was imputed unto him for righteousness. Disciples of Christ came out of the world and never turned back to the end.
If you have embraced or identified with Christ – the hope of glory never go back to wallow in your mire of sin like swine thereby, making yourself a transgressor.
1Jn 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
Jas 4:4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
Confession of the Day
I am delivered praise the Lord I will never, never go back to the sinful world for sins shall not have dominion over me.
Prayer Point

Sin is everywhere I turn in this dirty world, Lord give me grace and help me to die daily to them but be alive to Christ my Lord.
