Bible Reading: - John 9: 1 – 12
Message
There
are a lot of revelation about the kingdom, God and Holy Spirit by Christ to his
disciples because the asked questions; meaningful question; genuine questions
about what baffles them and they wanted to know why it was like that. One of
such occasion was revealed in our text today.
From
Christ response, we discovered that not all disabilities and deformities were
caused by those affected one way or the other; that it was done to show the
works of God on them.
Therefore,
let us not judge or condemn anyone having one problem or the other, but we
should seek the face of God for them to manifest his himself on their behalf.
Set time
apart to prayerfully search the scriptures for revelation of things you do not
understand for God will speak to you, he will answer you. You remember Balaam
who has to seek the face of God in prayers to receive instruction as to whether
he should go and curse Israelites according to Balak; but God told him not to
go. He knew because he asked.
God has
promised not to take our teachers away from us and that you will prosper when
you believe his prophets; also God saith he will fill the mouth of our leaders
when they open it wide in teaching counseling and praying for his people.
There is
nothing bad in waiting behind after service to seek counsel from your Pastor
about what you seem not to understand like Disciples of Christ did and their
wrong notions were corrected by Christ.
In
addition, the blind man received his sight back through obedience of faith; he
was asked to go and washed his face in the pool of Siloam, he obeyed, went,
washed and came back seeing.
Sincere,
anointed and God – fearing leaders are all around us today and you shall know
them by their fruits and leading of the spirit of God. If they pray for you or
on your problems believe that it is done and be thanking God for he had
answered and you will prosper; there will surely be performance of that which
they have declared on your behalf. Hannah believed the word of Eli that God had
granted her petitions, she believed, went and became mother of great prophet in
Israel. So I encourage you to ask questions about what you don’t known and
believe the answer you are given and you shall prosper in all you lay your hand
upon to do. It is well with you in Jesus name [Amen]
Confession
of the Day
I will
wait upon the Lord to hear what he will tell me, I shall obey and carry out his
directives to letter.
Prayer
Points
Open my eyes Oh Lord
to behold deeper meanings of your words; give me proper understanding of the
scriptures as I read them everyday.
