Do Not Draw Back
Memory Verse: - Heb 10:38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man drawback, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
Bible Reading: - Heb 10: 1 – 39
Message
The Lord commanded Moses to tell Israelites to move forward despite the cross of red sea before them and the world of Egyptian warrior’s are behind them. They obeyed and red sea got divided for them to pass through on dry land with water as walls at their right and left hand. In their obedience to divine commandment, they possessed their souls.
It is the way of the cross that leads home; the kingdom of God suffereth violence and the violent take it by force:
Mt 11:12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.
As a believer in this adulterous and evil generation; dwelling in the midst of unrighteous and wicked people under the control of Satan; there will be persecutions, trials, and afflictions, but no matter how cruel and fiery the tribulation may be endeavour to move forward and God of heaven will have pleasure in thee.
Continue to walk in faith and not by sight for he that walks in faith is spiritual; he sees the invisible one like Stephen at the point of death steadfastly set his eyes on things above saw heaven opened to him and he saw Jesus seated at the right hand of God in majesty. He from there went straight to heaven which is the ultimate goal of every sincere seeker’s of God.
The word of God says if you give in to discouragement and cast away your faith so as to go back, God will not have pleasure in you; there is no safety behind because your pursuers are behind you and once you turn back you might be consumed by your enemies.
You can only live by your active faith in the Lord; for the just shall live by faith and they overcome the world as a result of their faith. In difficult times, meditate on God’s word and pray it in and you will be strengthened to forge ahead.
 When you continually walk in faith, God will be pleased with you and have pleasure in you and your faith will activate his power to liberate you and perfect all that concern you. No matter the trials, reproaches, mocking, persecution and affliction; continue and the Lord shall deliver you from them all.
Confession of the Day
I have decided to follow Jesus; the cross before me and the world behind me; no turning back.
Prayer Points
God, your word says where sins and trials abounded, grace is much more abound; hence give me more and sufficient faith to move forward come what may. Make me a conqueror in Jesus name [Amen]
