"For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness."

Text: Genesis  7:1 - 5
1 And the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation.
2 Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female.
3 Of fowls also of the air by sevens, the male and the female; to keep seed alive upon the face of all the earth.
4 For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth. 
5 And Noah did according unto all that the LORD commanded him.
                     
                           MESSAGE
That which we as human beings need to know of God is clearly written in us so that we don't have excuse. Romans 1 : 19
"Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them."

Even though there was no Bible and Pastors in those days, yet Noah can clearly hear and believe the instructions of God. God counted it as righteousness for him because he believed and obeyed.
In verse 5
"And Noah did according unto all that the LORD commanded him."

It is righteousness to obey the scriptures absolutely. There is no any other gospel way, whatsoever He saith to you, there's but one thing to do just obey. He will love you for it, bless you in return, and preserve you in the day of visitation, just as Noah and his obedient family were preserved from the flood. If any of his family members had been rebellious, he or she would have perished with the unbelievers of their generation.

Noah's Ark of the moment is Jesus Christ, if you believe and accept him as your Lord and saviour, you shall be saved from the wrath to come.

Prayer Point
God I surrender all to you,help me to do all your will absolutely all throughout my lifetime.

SUPPLYING OUR NEEDS

May 3 SUPPLYING OUR NEEDS But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. — PHILIPPIANS 4:19 It is God’s will that our needs be met. All of them! Philippians 4:19 includes all of your needs (all means all!), whether spiritual, physical, material, or financial. Believe that! Lest someone think that God is not concerned about our financial needs, this verse is set in a context which discusses material and financial affairs. Read it and you will see that the Philippians had taken up an offering of money and goods to send to other Christians. Paul was telling them, “Because you have given to others and have helped them, my God shall supply all your need.” So Paul was talking about material and financial matters. With what boldness, then, we can pray for finances to meet our obligations! Having all of our needs met is according to God’s will!
