And I knew it when that healing power went into them. I felt it in my hands as it went into them. But somehow, many weren’t even conscious of it. It was like I had laid my hands on a doorknob. There was no response. I’ve seen those same people come back with their faith active and say, “Just put your hand on me. I’ll receive right now.” I’d reach out to touch them, and it seemed like they jerked the power of God out of me!I remember one woman in particular. I didn’t know it was going to happen. One Saturday night, he was ministering in a certain church. As the congregation was singing, he was sitting on the platform. Suddenly, a surge of power came into the little church room and went through his body. He could have jumped up and started shouting, but he didn’t. He just held steady. They kept on singing, and a surge of power swept over the whole crowd. “The third time, that power swept over me again,” he said, “I could have shouted, jumped, run, or done all three at one time! I literally had to hold on to the pew to keep myself down. So after he was healed, this admiral couldn’t go back to being an officer. He appeared before Congress. I was impressed by the speech that he made. For we are well able to overcome it.” That means, “We can do it!” You know, the crises of life come to all of us. Don’t think you are just going to float through life on flowery beds of ease. We were sitting at a restaurant and a young woman walked into the restaurant with her mother and father. It was this young woman I had prayed for! She was walking just as well as anyone. She came over to the table and talked to us. She said, “Brother Hagin, do you remember telling me that I would walk?” I said, “I sure do. I knew that you would if you mixed your faith with God’s power.
