Health Food Devotional Monday November 27, 2016 I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.  (Ps. 118:17) In this Reader's Digest article, it also stated that a person couldn't be an officer in the United States Navy if he'd ever had a deadly disease. So after he was healed, this admiral couldn't go back to being an officer. He appeared before Congress. I was impressed by the speech that he made. He told them about his healing and then he said, "Since being out of the hospital and reading the Bible daily, I've found that God has promised us at least seventy or eighty years, and I'm not even half that old. "I could get a pension and sit down the rest of my life. But I want you gentlemen to know that I'm going to live my life out. I'm going to live for God first and my country second. An Iranian woman who was blinded and badly disfigured by an acid attack by a spurned suitor recently pardoned her attacker. The woman was severely disfigured in the 2004 incident, when a bucket of acid was poured on her face and body and ultimately went through at least, 17 operations.
