And the King of glory shall come in. -Psalm 24:7 David asks two probing questions in this psalm: “Who may ascend … or who may stand in His holy place?” (v. 3), and “Who is this King of glory?” (v. 8) One question asks for the qualifications of the worshiper; the other asks the age-old question, who is the God we worship?   Who stands in His presence? “Those who seek Him” (v. 6). Faith Food Devotional A Tender Conscience July 29, 2016 "Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron" (1 Tim. 4:2).  Keep a tender conscience - don't violate it - because it is your conscience, the voice of your spirit, that relates to your mind what the Spirit of God is saying to you down inside. If you don't keep a tender conscience, spiritual things will not be clear to you.  During the mid-30s, I pastored a country church and usually spent Sunday nights in the home of a dear old gentleman who was about eighty-nine years old. A miracle began in the life of Peter. He was walking on the water.  But that miracle was never consummated. That miracle never came into full fruition. Why? Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His court with praise. Be thankful to Him and bless his name. -Psalm 100:4 Psalm 100 commands us to make a joyful noise, serve the Lord, come into His presence, enter His gates, give thanks to Him, and bless His name. These commands are based on timeless truths. God made us, and we are His people. The Lord is good. His steadfast love endures forever, and His faithfulness is to all generations. Our ability to praise, serve, or enjoy God’s presence flows out of our understanding of who God is and who we are in relation to Him.   Everything I am is due to Him. My worship, service, and fellowship with the Creator is dependent upon self-understanding. How can I praise when I am still the center of my own world?  And not knowing the Lord hinders my worship. On 1 October, 1946, after 216 court sessions, the International Military Tribunal at Nuremberg delivered its verdicts sentencing the leaders of the Nazi party to death by hanging. Julius Streicher, a notorious Nazi in the movement's early history, and publisher of the anti-Semitic newspaper "Das Strummer", set up to publish his vitriolic attacks on Jews, was one of those to face the gallows. One of the causes then was unequal yoke in marriage ...... Sons of God married daughters of men. Despite all these, Noah was perfect because he walked with God. If Noah could walk with God in those days without Bible, without pastors, grace and holy spirit, then those of us under the dispensation of grace , where we have better promises and better covenant have no excuse. We should be able to firmly stand for the Lord. Noah and other old testament saints will rise up on the last day and condemn this generation. Therefore repent, accept Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, so shall strength be given thee to live for God acceptably. John 1:12
