MESSAGE
Rest they say is sweet after hard labour, but as for the spiritual warfare and kingdom ministerial assignment, no useless rest or retirement until he comes or till we see him in glory. Master expects us to be occupied till he comes. David as a king in Israel suppose to be at the battle field when kings were at war, but chose to be at home resting and fell into sin of adultery. Young prophet also rested at the wrong time and was overtaken by the old prophet who lied to him, deceived him and sent him to hell dramatically. Disciples of Christ all ran away for the time being and could not endure the suffering of Christ because they slept when they were suppose to be praying.
You can retreat from the battle field to refuel, to renew your strength, to wait upon the Lord, so that you can re -fire, but do not retreat into frivolities and sensuality.
Just as the old prophet deceived the young prophet into painful destruction, so the old serpent ( the devil ) is after careless, prayer-less and sensual believers today so as to destroy their ministry, make them enemies of God and send them to hell. So don't be careless with your divine assignment, be diligent to make your calling an election sure, be watchful and be instant in prayers. Seek not yet repose for the devil your archenemy is not at rest. God will help us to be victorious at last. (Amen)
Confession of the Day
I will not let the devil win the battle, I will spend and be spent for the Lord who died for me. I will by his grace run the race to the end.
