                            MESSAGE
God through prophet Isaiah says “behold my servant ………….” referring to our Lord Jesus Christ. He said he had chosen him, he was pleased with him. He is the way, the truth and the life without which we cannot see God. If we ever want to please God then we have to set Christ before us as our role model in every circumstance of life. We must strive to become like him in deeds and in conversation. He said in the scriptures that it is sufficient for the followers to be like their master.
When Pharisees provoked him to anger, he corrected and rebuked them in love and that ends it, no animosity, no clamor, and no malice against them. He did not lose his peace and did not call down fire to consume them.
He only withdrew himself from them and continues his ministerial assignment. In like manner, let no man weakens your zeal for the master, whatever they do, continue to do God’s will passionately and zealously for you will only be remembered by what you have done for the Lord.
Behold Jesus in holiness and in righteousness. Aspire to be like him, he is perfect, sinless and blameless and God was pleased with him. Anybody in Christ Jesus must be a new creature (old things of lying, stealing, and cheating, womanizing, drunkenness, reveling etc.)are passed away, behold all things are become new. 2Co 5:17
Behold Jesus and you will see him being filled with the spirit of God who went about doing good because the spirit of God was poured upon him without measure. Those that are dinning and winning with the devil are possessed by the spirit of the devil, so must Christians be filled with the spirit of God to dispel powers of darkness. If you mingle carelessly with worldly people who do not have the word and the power of God, you become diluted, polluted, weak and powerless Christian. This contradicts the plan of God for you. Know the word like Christ, let his word dwell in you richly and you will be powerful. Where the word of the king is there will be power.
Jesus is mine in the morning, in the noon time; he is mine when the sun goes down. He is mine in season and without season, he is mine at home and abroad; he is mine when the going is well or when it is tough; he is mine all the time. I have set him before me now and forever more. What about you? Let us follow him to the end. He will definitely lead us to the heavenly father and we shall forever rest in the peace of God.
Confession of the Day
Oh! to be like thee blessed redeemer in holiness and righteousness all the days of my life. You are mine now and forever more.
